Helloooooooooo... Sorry for disappearing but last week got a bit hectic... I AM SNOWED under, and it's only week 1. Loads of work. It's City of London hours, basically. Argh.
I suppose it's my fault for finding a job in FVG... Anyway - I am sorry but I am going to have to slow down my MN appearances if I want to spend any time with the DD and DH... The good news is that I am enjoying it though, so I am going to keep going for the moment...

But I am not going to miss SG's labour though... Keep us posted and take it easy (ehm, I would never have taken such advice, so feel free to ignore eh eh).

MM, hope things have improved this weekend - it sounds like you are doing a great job (changing plugs? I thought that was adventurous...), so take it easy and have time with your girls.

I have just eaten a fritella con la nutella ( warm ) I hate nutella but this was lovely so its soup and salad for me for the rest of the day !!!!!!!!!! ( Its mega cold and I wanted one to cheer me up after my visit to the bank)!

I can't cope with bud spencer or Terrence Hill I can just about manage Carlo Verdone but I must admit to being not very supportive of Italian commedians...But having said that I love Ale and Franz!
The flat was at first sight not as described ( Ottimo stato ) So I looked and mentally erased it. Then when the owner had gone and I said well it wasn't ottimo stato was it ? it needs impianti / bagno etc the estate agent said we will do all the work before you go to rogito....It took me aback and if it is as said then it really is good value its 110m and a bit old but its solid . ALl the condominio parts are new. I have just looked at Che Banca and they have some very good offers but dh needs to go to Mestre to see them and he is up to his eyes....AHHHHH

I can't think of anything that excites me less than spending 1000 euros on a bimbi, tbh. In fact I am kind of anti-kitchen appliance, I used to have a food processor and a frullatore, they both died and I replced them with a hand blender. it's great, no more cupboard-hogging dust collectors with a million bulky pieces to clean every time. It makes soup, smoothies and hummous, and will whisk cakes etc, which is all I really need it for.
I am no domestic goddess though.

Glad the job is going well MI, hope we will still see you from time to time.
Shame about the apartment Rosa, worth trying a few more banks as there is quite a bit of variation. We got uot mortgage with Barclays in the end.
