AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 09/12/2009 14:00

Well, yes, grandisssimo, if he hides his cazzone face behind ridiculous chioma di cavalli.

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 09/12/2009 14:03

Let's compare:
www.zimbio.com/Stefano+Accorsi

& Slash

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 09/12/2009 14:08

of course it's meant to be "chioma di capelli"

Francagoestohollywood · 09/12/2009 14:09

!!!
Accorsi wins!

TheMysticMasseuse · 09/12/2009 14:09

Did you know Slash was born in Hampstead?

Bah looking back at Guns?n?Roses they were all hideous. what can i say, hormones are a powerful thing.

I think the only crush comparable to my current R-Patz obsession (which I trust is entirely due to the stress of moving plus being a single mum 5 days a week, not my brain turning to complete pappa) was Ethan Hawke in Dead Poets? Society. A crush I reprised at uni when he was in Before Sunrise, and about 5 years ago when he was in Before Sunset. I could sooooo picture myself as Julie Delpy

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 09/12/2009 14:16

Slash is posh? See, what private schooling does to you?

Francagoestohollywood · 09/12/2009 14:17

I thought he was born in Stoke on trent or something!

I had various serious crushes, River Phoenix has always been my main one.

Francagoestohollywood · 09/12/2009 14:19

slash's bio here

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 09/12/2009 14:20

It's a wig, surely, that thing on his head....i am pissing myself laughing so mcuh.

TheMysticMasseuse · 09/12/2009 14:28

am pretty sure i read an article int eh guardian about him growing up in hampstead.

you bet all these pretty boys are posh- Dominic West, R-Patz...

Francagoestohollywood · 09/12/2009 14:30

Dominic is uber posh.
Time to start my school run.

PincoPallino · 09/12/2009 14:41

Yup a big Ethan Hawke fan here too in my youth exactly from those movies. Even bought and read his 2 books. I bet you have too, MM?

RoFling all the way and literally PML .

No clubs at 14. But then I started going for sleep-overs at friend's house who was allowed to go and addio sad feste with lenti and bring it on silver chioma !

TheMysticMasseuse · 09/12/2009 14:52

i read Ash Wednesday which i thought was very good. what's the other one?

PincoPallino · 09/12/2009 14:58

The Hottest State.

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 09/12/2009 16:03

Don;t tell me E Hawkes is a good writer?

Can you believe it, I got the end of the stick about the T Woods gossip, I understood his British presenter lover was the Kirsty of Location Location, but no, apparently it is a different Kirty telly presenter.

I just could not see Tiger and my Kirsty having it off, boh.

Francagoestohollywood · 09/12/2009 16:10

Mmmm interesting to know re EH. I've always thought he was a bit of a cazzone too . I'm clearly wrong!

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 09/12/2009 16:25

Can a cazzone be a writer?

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 09/12/2009 16:26

Pinco, can I have your famous red cabbage recipe?

Francagoestohollywood · 09/12/2009 16:27

The answer, imo, is yes. Lots of cazzoni who are writers.

SuiGeneris · 09/12/2009 16:29

Lol at MM's DH party-complaint story. DH also convinced he's there with the "kidz", but irl we're more in the JL-Waitrose-quiet-Sunday-with-the-papers brigade. DH obviously puts it down to me being the grown up. If it keeps him happy...
Must have had v boring adolescence- cannot even remember first lento, but then I did have a habit if falling for (much) older men, who did not turn up for teenage parties. And inevitably when I did like sby in broadly the right age range, they usually ended up snogging sby else right under my nose, just as for MM, or, worse, we became friends and wanted advice on how to impress another girl.
Fortunately things changed at uni, became much less shy, got into politics and finally started going out with people my age. Though I still misread cues and ended up good friends with a couple of gorgeous boys whom I really rather liked and who, I realised years later, would also have been happy with smthg more intense. C'est la vie...

Francagoestohollywood · 09/12/2009 16:37

Oh SG!!! I was the same, I was excellent at misreading cues... plus, I've never been able to "flirt" and my way was to be the simpaticona, which is a recipe for disaster.

TheMysticMasseuse · 09/12/2009 16:41

Ethan Hawke was married to Uma Thurman and left her for the nanny. doesn't get much more cazzone than this, frankly.

but do we care? Am I bovvered? I absoutely adore him for what he represented, in his characters... in DPS he was the dreamy rebellious broody teenager (do you see a pattern?) when i was a dreamy tormented teenager. he was the young man discovering love and life in BS(in Vienna! what a premonition, that's where dh is from!) when i was a young woman discovering love and life. and he was a bitter, harder, probably disillusioned but still sparkly trentenne when i was... you guessed it.

I don't care if EH is a cazzone or not because through his art he has helped me reflect on my life and it so happened we are exactly of the same generation and all that etc etc

same reason why Heath Ledger will always have a special place in my heart... saw Casanova (prob his shittiest movie) the night before having dd1 and his lovely twinkling face literally kept me going during a long hard labour. i always credit him with seeing me through.

and yes plenty of cazzoni are writers and viceversa. just look at that pallone gonfiato Andrea de Carlo

Francagoestohollywood · 09/12/2009 16:53

Oh yes, I was going to say ANdrea de carlo too.

Masseuse, yes, I understand. I'm not keen on EH or any of this movies, but have experienced the same feeling for other actors/movies.

Heath Ledger. Now we are talking. He was fantastic and a gifted actor (and sexy, lets face it). Have you seen 10 things I hate about you? She was more or less the kind of teenager I would have wanted to be, he was the guy I've never had...

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 09/12/2009 19:17

Did you know that both Pinco and I got rid of our Due di Noi copy by De carlo, we gave it to a charity shop. And one day I go to a charity shop and I see his bloody book again. I wonder if it was Pinco's copy!

Francagoestohollywood · 09/12/2009 19:19

Bum (you don't mind if I call you Bum, do you? )!
I'm proud to say that I've nver read a de carlo's book
