yes she had a boy, secret father. very lovely pictures of her looking sleep deprived gazing lovingly at cute baby.

gosh i am so not yummy, but i suppose i do tick a lot of boxes (but before anyone asks i live in a tiny flat and drive-badly- a ford focus so i am not quite so stereotypical)

Francasaysrelax · 25/11/2009 22:19

of MM celebrity hospital!!!

Sorry, I'm late for chat, but I celebrated my birthday watching the end of the wire season's 1 finale... and therefore bought other 2 series on amazon.
I'm not sure whom I love the most. Jimmy or Freamont. Che fighi!!!

My role model is actually Maisy. Followed by charlie and lola.

Masseuse, no, I didn't go to Luini today, but I usually do and eat my panzerotti looking at the windows of Hoepli

Camo, lol at marshmellow world!!!

Francasaysrelax · 25/11/2009 22:27

Notte masseuse. I forgot to ask about the interview. Is it for a job in G? Shall we keep our fingers crossed?

Freamon has a sexy voice.

well, your idea of small might not be small at all . notte, that 4-poster bed must be comfy with those 8 pillows

Bucharest · 26/11/2009 08:13

Helloooooooo!

Bookmarked you last night on my way to bed....

Cannot remember all of previous 12 pages, except, boo hiss to broken cars and shoulders, (and David Potato Face becoming PM) erm, and schools finish all over Italy on 10th June, irrespective of what day that is- IIRC it was Wednesday this year...

I haven't been doing anything interesting in my absence, just lots (too much) online shopping for Christmas, a few lessons, planning a project for kids in a bookshop (except we now have to find another place to do it as bookshop woman wanted to do it on Monday nights at 8pm)

Just roffled at your comments on the I hate France thread Franca....cannot work out if they are being funny (ha ha) or catty on that one...so I will refrain from comment, although it's obvious who they are talking about ho hum.

Dd out of school at 11 am today...so just time to MN and mop disgusting kitchen floor.

Francasaysrelax · 26/11/2009 09:05

Where's the 4 poster bed? I want one!!! We are still sleeping in a letto a una piazza e mezza and I can't take it anymore!!!

Oh hello Bucharest!

What is the project at the bookshop about Bucharest? It sounds very interesting!

Some are deffo being funny on that thread. Some are incredibly defensive. I think the thread has been sparkled by another thread about alcohol consumption (lots of people getting all defensive on that thread as well).
Actually, the poster we all have in mind is pretty critical of many aspects of French life (from school to parenting).

OP posts:
Bucharest · 26/11/2009 09:15

That's what I thought!

The bookshop thingy is basically a course of English for kids in a bookshop rather than a school. It is in dp and Scamy's hometown rather than here, (here people won't pay for that sort of thing, too busy getting their Moncler ski jackets on credit but there (hard to believe only 10km away!)they will, so we're opting for there...) Be good if it comes about, as an hour with children a song, a poem, a bit of hello/what's your naming...like taking candy from a baby work wise! (and whilst I am still waiting for last year's money for the scuola media ...) I've also put my name down for inserimento into the list of translators/interpreters at the tribunale so now have to hope lots of Americans get arrested!

I might as well be sleeping in a single bed as I always get pushed into the last 6 cm at the very edge.

Francasaysrelax · 26/11/2009 09:27

It really sounds good ... also because bookshops are my favourite place.

I thought my Scamy was from T? Is he from A then? ... ... perhaps you should offer to give him private english lessons...

And yes, I'm by the Moncler mania. 3 weeks ago I was in dh's hometown (very provincial) and all the small children (think from 6 months on) were wearing monclers (and it wasn't that cold!!!).
Roba da pazzi.

OP posts:
Bucharest · 26/11/2009 09:38

I didn't even know what one was (Moncler) till my Burberry/Vuitton loving friend said "ooooh look at Daniela's jacket" (to go with her "classy" Hogans of course

Scamy and dp both from A. Everyone escapes A and comes to live in T. Personally, I find T is prettier, but the people are more genuine (even if that can mean a bit grezzo lol) in A. Here there is a lot of "show" and 2-facedness going on. I just play the daft foreigner and nod my head to everything.

OP posts:
PippiHasALifeOfRiley · 26/11/2009 10:24

oh Franca I wished you would provide me with a long list .

yes moan away.

PippiHasALifeOfRiley · 26/11/2009 10:25

I always moan about dh on my birthday poverino. No matter what he does it is never quite enough .

PippiHasALifeOfRiley · 26/11/2009 10:30

I am still undecided to whether buy The Wrie. Maybe I'll buy the first series and see how it's going. boh.

Sputnik · 26/11/2009 11:12

Are these all genuine Monclers though? I have noticed the markets are chock-a-block with Moncler-alikes. I actually think they are more excusable on children than adults, not that DD will be wearing one.

Buch you will be happy to hear my English lessons are going well, thanks for all your pointers and support!

AntonioGramsci · 26/11/2009 12:38

Why don't you get the Wire from lovefilm?

Ohhh, MM, after a traumatic birth you have a right to have the best care, so don't feel judged.

It is hard as one makes money to stick to one's own idealogy unfortunately. I am not sure what I would have done if I could have afforded private healthcare. I like to think that I would stick to my principles but who knows!!! I mean my midwives were awful, verging on the sadistic!!!! I am sure a passerby would have shown more kindness. Boh! Anyway we are unlikely to find out unless we win the lottery.

Could the daddy be that Briatore guy?

Agree about hating pink Camo, aftert having a boy, it is very noticeable how all the girls wear pink. DD wears a lot of ds' stuff for the time being. Boh!

What presents then Franca? [curious]

AntonioGramsci · 26/11/2009 12:39

Ohhh, I hate Monclers, bruttissimi!
