As you may know TrinityRhinos dh died in August and a small request to buy some shoes turned into a very loving, giving thread to help Trinity, another Mumsnetter (sleepwhenidie) suggested that maybe we could sort getting TR a present for her and she has been hankering after this coat
for over a year, I started a paypal fund which currently has around £470 in it and thought I'd cheekily email Boden to ask for a discount on the coat and this is the most fantastic email reply I received today

'Dear Michelle,

Thanks for getting in touch, Trinity is very fortunate to have such good friends.

We would love to give you this coat for Trinity, plus a £50 Boden gift voucher for each of her daughters and step sons.

Please let me know which size and colour you would like and I'll get the coat ordered for you.

now means all the money raised can go to TR in vouchers to help try and make this Christmas a little more happy for them all

I have checked with TR and she would like it all in Tesco vouchers (I am doing £100 per card so that Trinity can take one card at a time and not worry about losing it/having it stolen/damaged etc) Think we'll be feeding the TR family until at least February

Hope someone at Boden has seen and read this (did email it to them) and and dd2 is still available for modelling (she is obviously the cutest girl in the world along with dd1) although she has the cheekiest grin so maybe not 'classical' enough for Boden

I was telling my Mum and MIL about it and they were both a bit however am sure MIL may have sneaked and had a read of the threads as she said it was fantastic amount.

My mum worries about everything and really doesnt understand th concept of Mumsnet(she practically hyperventaliated when I told her that I was flying to Dublin to have a girls weekend away with someone I had never met (went to Dublin with LAughalot in February and it was great ) so didnt expect her to understand really)
