No, not at all. I've been busy all day. We spent the day at Camden Market. it's grown massively since I was last there (when DS1 was tiny). We had a great time. I bought a coat, skinny jeans (yes, I can finally fit into them!) and an oil painting of a London scene. The boys bought lots of beady bracelets.
We got home, flopped on the sofa and watched Casino Royale, which was pretty good but a bit of a boy movie (lots of action).
I've seen Zeb around on Facebook. No idea why she left the thread without a word.
Zeb, if you're listening, we miss you.

Not peed off... it's festival weekend here so not around much.

Lyra, I used to love Camden market. When I worked in London I used to walk there every weekend. I loved sitting by the locks in the sunshine.

Berrie, don't know if it's any use but there is a leaflet about chronic back pain that you can download here

Its absolutely massive now Oggs. We were there all day and didn't get round the whole thing. The bit near the station is still pretty unchanged but the lock part is unrecognisable.

oggsfrog · 22/09/2009 20:02

Hello????

Have spent the day painting doors and skirting boards. Upstairs is starting to look a little less grotty. We've got carpet arriving soon for the stairs, landing and bedrooms so I have to get the decorating done if I don't want to ruin the new carpets.
Now downloading Kings of Leon songs.

Berrie · 23/09/2009 08:07

Morning.
How was the festival Oggs?
We need to get on with some decorating too.

oggsfrog · 23/09/2009 09:15

Morning
Far too much alcohol, and far too many chips. Festival itself has been better.

No decorating here, but am having a washing/cleaning marathon before we go away next week.

How's the back Berrie?

LyraSilvertongue · 23/09/2009 09:17

Where are you going Oggs?
More painting for me today. Groan.

Berrie · 23/09/2009 10:57

I think she's going to Blackpool.
The back is not so bad actually. I think the doubling of a pill I take in the morning has taken enough of the egde off to get going a bit more.

oggsfrog · 23/09/2009 16:48

Yup. We're doing Blackpool for a couple of days next week. Both dh and I used to go as children and feel it's an experience/memory dd should have too.
The Illuminations, the Pleasure Beach, the amusement arcades, candy floss, toffee apples, fish and chips along the Golden Mile, the Piers...ultra tacky, loud, brash etc etc.

Sounds very much like Great Yarmouth. My boys loved it there. The chips were great, proper ones made with artery clogging animal fat. Yum.

LyraSilvertongue · 23/09/2009 17:01

Window frames are a right bugger to paint. I was losing the will to live by the end.
Am now having a nice cup of tea while the boys play Scalextric.
DS2's passport arrived this morning just in time for our France hols.
Oggs, are you on half term already?

LyraSilvertongue · 23/09/2009 17:01

DD, I mean.

Berrie · 23/09/2009 17:42

DD?

France Hols?

LyraSilvertongue · 23/09/2009 17:51

I meant to ask Oggs if her DD was on half term. Oggs is too old for school herself
I'm sure I told you we're going to France in half term week with another family. We bid together for the villa at the school auction of promises. Remember?

Berrie · 23/09/2009 18:00

Oh aye. Where abouts?

LyraSilvertongue · 23/09/2009 18:08

Languedoc

oggsfrog · 23/09/2009 20:33

No. Not school hols yet, but we got a good deal on a room in The Big Blue hotel for 2 nights.

We all went to the dentisst last week for our check up.
Dh needs a new crown and an implant and the soonest he could get in for them was in January - March!
Dd needs an eye keeping on her teeth (formation wise) but our next check up has to be Sept!
I need a new crown and the soonest they could fit me in is next May!
It's ridiculous. He is soooo busy. I'm wondering if I can change us to another dentist. I always used to have a check up every 6 months, and if I needed work doing it was usually done within a couple of weeks. Whare are all the dentists????

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 23/09/2009 20:38

In London. We've got them coming out of our ears down here
Do you know how much an implant costs? I've got a couple of gaps that could do with filling up.

Berrie · 24/09/2009 08:20

Dh had an implant for his front tooth. It was over £2000

oggsfrog · 25/09/2009 08:35

That's a lot of money!

Frantically running around like a headless chicken trying to get the place presentable for db and sil.

Berrie · 25/09/2009 21:28

Hey Lyra. You need to watch the False Blood Spoofs. Made me laugh and laugh!

LyraSilvertongue · 25/09/2009 21:31
