Forecast says sunny start, with rain later. Party's 2.30-5. Hope it holds off long enough.

Nice and sunny now here...hope it's ok there.

Party madness is over, thank God. The weather was bright and sunny, apart from a 10-minute shower. My house is a tip again though.
It's not actually his birthday, we just held the party early because his birthday is mid-August and most of his friends would be on holiday. We'll actually be camping on his birthday
We'll arrange for him to have his best friend (the builder's son) over for a sleep-over as a real birthday treat.

I think I've got the start of something. Feeling a bit icky in the belly area.

One more day and my duties as a class rep will be over and I'll be freeeeeee!!!
Just got the presentation of the gifts/cards to do in the morning, then class picnic after school.

Presentation done (phew, I'm no good at that sort of thing), teacher was in tears. There were plenty of tears in DS1's class too as five of the children are leaving, including three of my favourite girls .
Just got after-school picnics now (if the weather brightens up) and then we're done. Phew, I'm knackered.

I'm here...back has gone now, they're sending fil home on Wednesday.

It's veeeeeery quiet.

Oggs, when the swine flu thing kicks off can we come and live with you?

I know that no-one is here but I'll tell you about my night anyway. My back got worse yesterday and Dh wanted to call an ambulance but I wouldn't let him. Today i have a prescription for diazapam which is also a sleeping tablet but nothing seems to have changed. A friend has taken the childen so that DH can go to work. If the pills do not work I may need to go to hospital tomorrow. At least I think that that's what the Dr means by, 'we'll have to sort you out.'

Dh is very stressed. I did a lot of sobbing yesterday but feeling much more cheerful now. Hope everyone is ok it makes me worry when you disappear.

for you that your back's worse again. But if you have to go to hospital, maybe they'll actually do something about it instead of fobbing you off.
First day of the hols here and the boys are playing darts in the garage (which now has a roof thanks to DP). they're still in their pyjamas. I'm going to get them dressed and head into town to buy yet more over-priced Club Penguin merchandise.

Yep. I was a bit worried that DS2 might have swine flu as he had all the symptoms on the list on the NHS website for two days but he's much better today so was prob just a bug.
What are you doing today? Are you still in pain?

Watching TV, reading the paper lying on the floor downstairs.
I need another lot of pills but they are in the kitchen. I'm not sure that I can get onto all fours on my own. It bloody hurts.

I need my drugs! They are on the side in the kitchen. I can't ring anyone to get them for me because I am also locked in, the keys are up on the hook.I can't reach. The Tesco van might be delivering before dh gets here...

Good luck Berrie. I think it's for the best. At least they might take the problem seriously now. Hope you get the treatment you need.

I hope they manage to get you sorted. Try not to worry about anything other than getting yourself better.

Dh will cope. The kids will be okay. This is your chance to get to the bottom of it.

Hope you've got some decent pain relief and handsome nurses and Drs and are comfortable.

I'm travelling up to Aunt's very soon and will be 'off air' until I get back home on Friday evening.
If you see this whilst in hospital (I had tv and internet last time I was in) get dh to let me know if there's anything I can do to help. Anything at all.

Hi Oggs, I've emailed Berrie's DH to try and find out how she is and to pass on that we're thinking of her.
How are you, anyway? what have you been up to? We're having another lazy day today. Batteries need recharging after a hectic few weeks.
