The Telegraph was moaning about how GW's been dumbed down, but as I never watch it, I didn't really care. So is it now no good? I'm waiting for the new series of Have I got News for You.

No He's had an X ray and they are going to remove the nail and repair the nail bed. Not sure when or how he is going to get home as neighbours are heading back now.

Gardener's World really has been dumbed down!They had the chap - no idea what his name is-showing Sara Cox how to sow carrot seed tonight.

It is his right hand he has damaged 3 fingers but only one is really bad.
He reckons he can get the bus but I think he'll be in a bit of a state after having that done...
I might have to get the neighbours to sit in while I get some cash for a taxi when they get back...

I'm on the dreaded double shift today.

He got back around midnight. He's broken his finger and had the nail bed stitched. He slept in then leapt out of bed at 9am remebering he had to go to his Dad's and get him his new pills( he's not well at the moment)He is right handed. I guess it means I'll be doing more - which seems fair after he did everything for me, though maybe not practical as I sam not always very mobile - it means the allotment and front garden are definatly not going to get done unless I pay someone. I can't do digging. but we'll survive! the worst thing is, he was just beginning to cheer up and now he's feeling very foolish and down again.

Oggs, did you like the bit when she snogged Jacob? It made Lyra very cross but I thought it was very erotic. I was annoyed by the 'oh I must be in love with him' rather than, 'I find him very sexy' though.

I don't actually luuurve Jacob or even like him much but he represents lust to me Fancying someone even though you've got someone.
