Titania - i think everyone was, actually, sympathetic to the fact that your gerbil was lost - but there was nothing that we could do to hlp - and there is something about gerbils in general (not including ones causing you grief / worry) that is funny. Don't take it personally - gerbils didn't get into this thread for a v long time, and they were 'borrowed'for this thread. You should be flattered!
