Macdog · 04/03/2009 14:10

brought back too many memories off dd giving herself a sudocrem facial, or the vitapoint in the hair...all to recent

OP posts:
VoodooTheOriginal · 04/03/2009 14:13

VoodooTheOriginal · 04/03/2009 14:14

do you like crocs?
Ive never had a pair but just been browsing and there are lots diff styles - inc. ballerina types, and sandals

worley · 04/03/2009 15:07

i love crocs, i have a special pair for work, with higher backs and no holes in them. they are sooo comfy when im on a night shift.i have a bright pink pair of the ballerina style, but they rub my heel so i dont wear them now. and i have an old blue pair that i have had for 4 years now that dp's sil sent me over from denver years ago, when we were talking. we went to the place where they first invented crocs, everyone was wearing them there and we looked at them and thought ergh, but then shauna sent me a pair and i lived in them ever scince.

worley · 04/03/2009 15:13

we've had no phone line/internet for a few days, we had to call sky and they said they never heard of our problem (we were gettting crossed lines then no line at all, and my mum couldnt ring as it was engaged apparently)they said they would organise an engineer and would be a week my neighbour (whose line we were getting instead of ours) rang bt and they came out today and it turns out that an engineer who came to box a few days ago had put all the leads back in the wrong boxes! and there were a few other houses in the road getting the wrong lines!
bloody people, and sky wanted to charge me £99 to come out and fix it! but i wasnt going to pay that

worley · 04/03/2009 15:41

jay kay well, if he will leave it parked on the road...

worley · 04/03/2009 20:41

VoodooTheOriginal · 04/03/2009 21:16

Ive posted 3 times on the freaky thread worley! I like it when we link to interesting threads because it is easy to miss stuff on MN

my sister still hasnt had her baby... 2 days overdue now
I went 11 days over
my other sister went 14 days over I think she will have a long wait yet!

worley · 04/03/2009 21:22

did you...im going to go look again, i skimmed a few pages as ds1 sat next to me reading it too, we were both in hysterics reading them out, so i told him that i "saw" the sugar puff monster coming to get me when i was little and in bed, he came out of the wall and was coming to the bed! and i remember flying down the stairs too, this happened at my parents old house so i would have been under 5 then. and i used to scream and insist there were crabs in the bed, so my mum had to completley strip the bed to prove there was nothing in before i would sleep.

Macdog · 05/03/2009 09:32

yes...Macdog...that toddler thread will haunt us..
dd went playing at her little best pal's house, her mum and I were gassing in the lounge and she lets them play in the girl's bedroom...
5 mins later her daughter came down with tiger stripes felt tipped all over her face 'Im a tiger, mummy' dd hadnt done it so I felt a bit smug..

10 mins later her child came down again and looked sheepish, I instantly felt alarmed..
'erm..we smell nice, mummy' she says
turns out the little buggers darlings had been in her bedroom and doused themselves in her perfume! Smelled like a pair of little tarts!!
I was quite embarrassed! then her daughter (8mths older than dd) proceeded to blame dd for the whole thing!
we scarpered after that tee hee
