Berrie, thankyou for the very kind offer to mug your children. It's much appreciated .
Tbh the car only cost £150 last year so it's reached the end of it's days I'm afraid - we need to get another one.

I know the feeling though - I think I've done really well at the shops sometimes, but try as I might I can't get it below £100 a week. Must Try Harder.

Still no snow but very cold here.

Am trying to pump water from the river as the tank is almost empty but I think the pipe has frozen, so that means no running water until the weather warms up . Bah!

We had snow for 15 minutes. Then it stopped.

My rich city-slicker sister is preening smugly and saying the weather has totally justified her owning a Chelsea Tractor in central London. As she was able to get to work this morning from Battersea.

No, I haven't been promoted. My boss is on maternity leave. The replacement finished on Friday. The boss isn't back until April. Ergo, I'm in charge. No promotion. No payrise. No confirmed job on 1st April.

Ho hum. But tonight, I'm off to the Leisure Centre to join, now I have my wheels.

Ooh. Hot off the press. It's just started snowing again.

Very quiet around here isn't it? Not just on this thread but the whole of mn seems sort of muted and slow. Maybe everybody has got themselves a rl.

Bit of snow overnight but very half-hearted attempt and is now sort of sleet and wind.

The children are off school today. We've been out on the sledge just now. It's gone icy now so I whizzed down. However, the children are not very robust in the snow. Before too long they were cold /had fallen over and wanted to go home. It took longer to get ready to go out than we spent out there. It's a shame because it could be years before it's like this again but they wanted to come in so that was that!

What ideas do you have for dd Oggs?

But did they have fun in the snow? I think DS has been tobogganing and DH has been filming it. Can't wait to see results.

I'm one of only 10 people in the office - normally around 60-odd.

I snuggled on sofa last night with comfort food and DT/DW dvd. Niiice. Am I the only one working today?

Yep, lots of good snow. Unfortunately, I left all my wellies at the farm when I left. And I think the au pair's using my riding boots

Ds is 5 and dd is 3.
We've just been out for another walk. Ds slipped onto his bum countless times but managed to keep smiling.I've been using my red docs they are like a pair of tractor tyres!

Still no running water here. (Glad I didn't go ahead and book my smear test for next week).
Must do it though. I got a reminder back in Nov and have been putting it off.

Made myself a DT Feb calendar page so will go and put it on the kitchen cupboard.

Haven't forgotten about Blackpool - just got lots on at momnet .

It's raining here now. But that's what I love about Cornwall - it may snow heavily but it only lasts around 24 hours and then disappears completely, so we have no ucky snow to contend with!

And the car's silver. DS is calling it Scoop because of Bob the Builder - Scoop being yellow and a digger, I can quite see how he arrived at that.... not.

Get you Oggs, which your calendar page. I went home early yesterday feeling woozy, and collapsed on sofa under my duvet and watched the last 2 episodes of the last series. I just wanted to go and hug him.

We've still got snow here but it's thinner and icier. Still looks lovely though in the bright sunshine.
Boys are back at school so I'm getting the house tidied up and going to Sainsbury's. Exciting huh?
