...... do you realise we've been chatting now for almost 18months .

Berrie, thankyou for the very kind offer to mug your children. It's much appreciated .
Tbh the car only cost £150 last year so it's reached the end of it's days I'm afraid - we need to get another one.

I know the feeling though - I think I've done really well at the shops sometimes, but try as I might I can't get it below £100 a week. Must Try Harder.

Perv? Oggs? Yeah probably!

Sorry for calling DH stupid Zeb,I feel bad now. I feel worried about him on your behalf and don't even know him. However, it's not my place to call him names and I'll feel even worse if something happens to him this weekend.

Oggsdog · 01/02/2009 02:19

Me?? Perving??

No whisky...
but...Ooohhhhhhh! David Tennant on permanent rewind...

Bliss....

Zeb, still havent watched 'Blackpool' yet... am saving it for best.

Oggsdog · 01/02/2009 02:24

Bloody hell. Is that the time?

Have been watching the sublime Mr Tennant. Dh is asleep on the settee/sofa/futon and snoring for Whosville.

Night night.

Oggsdog · 01/02/2009 02:35

Am pissed.

Am going to bed.

Will hopefully dream of Mr Tennant.

Oggsdog · 01/02/2009 02:37

Tsk, Berrie.

You know me too well have a skewed opinion of me...

Berrie · 01/02/2009 07:51

Oggs...that was nearly morning time!

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 01/02/2009 09:29

Berrie, I am so totally not offended. Stupid is the least of what I've called him over the last few weeks.

Oggs, how's the head? I've been meaning to ask you if you'd watched Blackpool yet. You are soooo going to love it. And this is v cheeky, but I now have a dvd driver that copies, soooo..... how do you fancy sharing? And natch, I shall reciprocate with all of you if there's anything of mine you want.

ProfCalc - good new name. You sound very clevvver.

Right, waiting for D stupid H to pick us up to drive us to Exeter. Let the Great Trek begin...... if I don't have a car by the next time I log in, I shall be vvv unhappy and vvvv grumpy!

Oggsdog · 01/02/2009 15:26

Afternoon
Zeb, you mean you actually want me to break the cellophane wrapper of 'Blackpool' . I'll have a go at copying it for you.
What do you have that might interest me? Any DT?

Berrie · 01/02/2009 15:38

Can I have a copy too?

How do you feel today Oggs?

Berrie · 01/02/2009 15:39

Snowing here but nowt to write home about. Ds has made a tiny snowman though.

Oggsdog · 01/02/2009 16:05

No snow here but blardy freezing.

Course you can (if I can manage to actually copy it)

Head okay thanks despite the grolsh incident (should really have been Tennants beer eh?). Watched Doctor Who and blubbed like a baby when Rose got stuck in the parallel universe

Oggsdog · 02/02/2009 07:16

Morning .
Anybody got snow? None here at all, just a bit frosty.

Did you get your car Zeb?

Berrie · 02/02/2009 08:21

We have snow...not impressive snow but snow non theless.
Lyra, I do not want to know how much you have got.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 02/02/2009 08:47

I do have a car.
I don't have snow.
I'll put together a list of what dvds I have.
And I AM THE BOSS!!!!!!! [gri n]

Or should that be mwahahahaha?

Oggsdog · 02/02/2009 08:53

What? New job?? Promotion???

Oh well done you!

Berrie · 02/02/2009 09:45

Eh?

Why are you the boss?

Berrie · 02/02/2009 09:47

Yikes, snow coming down now...they are closing the schols so not only do i not have to work today, I've got to trudge across the village and pick them up. DD was bawling by the time I got there as there is no weather shield on her cheap pushchair and she had turned into a snowman. It is hilly here and the small roads are not suitable for cars in this weather...just warm myself up and then i guess i'll set off again!

Berrie · 02/02/2009 09:55

Boooo, it's stopping...come back come back!

My brother sent pictures of the snow in Richmond...there must be a foot

Oggsdog · 02/02/2009 11:33

It's bloody cold here and is trying to snow but the effect is one of dandruff blowing in the breeze rather than chocolate box snowscene .

Have just realised it's only a week until dd's birthday and haven't got or planned anything [panic].

C'mon Zeb... fill us in.

ProfessorCalculus · 02/02/2009 14:10

Weeeeeellll, Berrie, we have tons of snow.
Woke up to about 8 inches worth and it's been snowing all day. The boys are at school but it's closed tomorrow. I'm working from home today cos trains all up the creek.

ProfessorCalculus · 02/02/2009 14:39

Just stuck a ruler in it and it's 9inches deep. Shame the boys had to go to school and miss it. The children next door go to a different school and theirs was closed.

Berrie · 02/02/2009 14:46

It's nice and deep now. Dh came home and we went sledging. DS was fine but DH and I were too heavy...

I will go out and do a competative ruler thing when I've warmed up.

Berrie · 02/02/2009 14:48

Don't think I'll make 9" though...

ProfessorCalculus · 02/02/2009 14:51

Where are people getting all these sleds from? I've seen hundreds of them going past my house. Have people had them in storage for a decade, waiting until the day we got real snow again? We haven't had proper snow for years and years.

Berrie · 02/02/2009 15:17

They were selling them in Asda at the weekend apparently. I've had one from the last time it was supposed to snow and another is dh's from childhood.

13cm on grass! (5")
