...... do you realise we've been chatting now for almost 18months .

Berrie, thankyou for the very kind offer to mug your children. It's much appreciated .
Tbh the car only cost £150 last year so it's reached the end of it's days I'm afraid - we need to get another one.

I know the feeling though - I think I've done really well at the shops sometimes, but try as I might I can't get it below £100 a week. Must Try Harder.

Hello! I'm still here too - just. We've all been struck down by this nasty flu virus over the holidays.
Happy new year to you all.
So Oggs, you're not impressed by the new Dr? I thought he was a good choice, myself.

LyraSilvertongue · 05/01/2009 10:32

I wasn't keen on Paterson Joseph. I liked him as Johnson in Peep Show but I thought he was rubbish in survivors.
I've been watching a lot of Spooks lately. Chief attractions are Matthew McFadyen in series 1 and Richard Armitage in series 6.
Have any of you noticed there's a LyraSilver on the boards? Most annoying. Her name could hardly be more similar to mine.

oggsfrog · 05/01/2009 10:36

Well hello stranger . Hope you are all feeling better now.Settled into your new house?

Haven't noticed the interloper with your name. Have you had words?

Nah. Not keen on number eleven. Cannot get over the fact that DT will be leaving . Have major crush on him at moment .

LyraSilvertongue · 05/01/2009 10:38

DT is the only Doctor as far as I'm concerned. I may have to stop watching when he leaves.
I have had words with the imposter but she's ignoring my posts.

Berrie · 05/01/2009 11:23

Helloooooo!
Sorry just been busy...what is this a reunion?
Hamlet was very very very good but it only made it more devastating that it was not DT. He would have been just....tantalising and...electrifying. The understudy was ok but I felt that you could tell it was DT's performance. What a shame

Glad that you are all well, nice to 'see you!'

LyraSilvertongue · 05/01/2009 11:54

We just need Binkle to show her face now...

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 05/01/2009 12:38

Hey Lyra! I'm glad you've come around to my way of thinking re Mr Armitage.

LyraSilvertongue · 05/01/2009 13:09

It certainly helps that his character, Lucas North, is intelligent and tough (and covered in tattoos after spending seven years in a Russian prison).

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 05/01/2009 13:29

Go and watch North and South.

oggsfrog · 05/01/2009 14:55

I've abandoned Hugh, Richard et al. My heart belongs to one man and one man only.

Okay 2 if you include dh, but all others have faded into the mists of obscurity...

OP posts:
Berrie · 05/01/2009 15:08

But the lips Oggs...the thin lips!

Actually I'm with you on the DT infatuation but I don't think he'd be a great snog.... I'm willing to give him a go however!

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 05/01/2009 15:39

Oh no, I'm still there on Richard, Hugh, and Rupert - particularly with added mustard. .

DT will also do, mind, as my New Year Resolution (apart from drinking less, smoking less and eating less!) is to be more open minded about my 'type' of man.

oggsfroghastennantitis · 05/01/2009 19:21

DT was back on stage in Hamlet last night and received a standing ovation. I'm gutted on your behalf Berrie but glad he's on the mend.

Anyone watch Swarm last night?

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 05/01/2009 20:01

I think you need to seek professional help. Possibly from a Doctor.

oggsfroghastennantitis · 05/01/2009 20:58

Ooh. Yes please .

OggsfrogisaBadWolf · 06/01/2009 08:33

Good morning .

Brrrr. -9. Cold.

Anyone doing anything interesting?

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 06/01/2009 08:36

Drinking [black] coffee and about to go to work. At least it's only a 2 min walk.

Ooh, I went to a 'Shape and Tone' class last night and am seriously considering pilates tonight. Get me, eh?!

Did you find your Doctor?

Berrie · 06/01/2009 09:17

That is cooooold! don't know what it is here but it is freezing. have just taken ds to school and dd has a purple chin...she is not happy!
He was back on stage on Saturday apparently. if he was going to let me down I wish that he'd let everyone down!

They are doing a tap class up the road from me Zeb but I think it would do my back in.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 06/01/2009 12:50

Why is DD's chin purple? Am I being thick? Reports from the farm are that it's minus 6. Brrrr.

Berrie, that's soooo not fair.

Now I have a dilemma. My stomach's how hurting from all those sit ups last night, so is pilates a Good Idea or a Bad Idea for tonight? There's nothing on telly except programmes about booze and food and dieting. Decisions, decisions....

Berrie · 06/01/2009 16:29

prple with cold.

Yes go for it Zeb. It'll be good for you.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 06/01/2009 17:41

I can't. My back is now hurting too. But I will do my pilates dvd instead.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 06/01/2009 17:42

Oh, sorry, has her chin regained it's normal colour yet?

Berrie · 06/01/2009 18:06

Yes indeed
I suggest you do nothing in that case and have a nice glass or two of wine to loosen your muscles.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 06/01/2009 18:13

Nooo. Keep away from me evil person. I am avoiding alcohol. Excuse me whilst I wander off and pollish my halo.

OggsfrogisaBadWolf · 06/01/2009 21:42

I called dd 'David' tonight much to her disgust .

I has got it baaaaaad.
