Berrie, thankyou for the very kind offer to mug your children. It's much appreciated .
Tbh the car only cost £150 last year so it's reached the end of it's days I'm afraid - we need to get another one.

I know the feeling though - I think I've done really well at the shops sometimes, but try as I might I can't get it below £100 a week. Must Try Harder.

DS very very poorly with Chicken pox. DH still off work with sickness bug...Berrie weak and feeble on sofa after a night of throwing up and the rest wondering how long the toast and tea will stay down...

Aw...poor family Berrie. I didn't realise you were all ill .

Chicken pox can be awful if you get it badly.

I was off school for weeks and weeks and had a very bad fever. The only thing that seemed to help me was cool baths though the ones on my bum used to burst and stick me to the bath like suctions - hope poor ds manages to fight if off sooner.

I like a bit of Shakespere myself but I'm not sure i want to treck to London at New Year...

The butler is a good part. He was one of dd's favourite characters.

I do like Shakespeare (saw Derek Jacobi in Richard III....'twas great), but am not that familiar with Hamlet and the combination of no David Tennant plus London at New Year would be enough to put me off tbh.
On the other hand it could be a great night. The new fella has had good reviews. How does dh feel?

Twilight. Haven't seen trailers (no tv) but it has had good reviews on the radio today and the male lead is supposed to be easy on the eye .
I haven't read the books yet. Have you? Would you wear your skirt if you went to see it?

Ok so he's through to the 2nd round where he had to sing and dance in front of Bill Kenwright. Hope he gets it...wrong production, wrong Joseph but n'ermind!

He said he thought it was some of the Tv Josephs. Not sure which. He'll find out in the next fortnight.

I just spent the night on the sofa with a rather good bottle of wine and Mama Mia. I then went for a wander into town and bumped into someone I knew from work.

But I'm back safely now... about to hit the sack with cocoa. I'll check in again tomorrow. I promise. How are you girls?!

I've had a couple of days to recover, so now all is good.

Nothing much to report here I'm afraid. Same old same old... still separated, still in my flat, still having DS at weekends whilst he's with his dad during the week... oh, and stll happy!

I had a lovely New Year's Eve.... watched the Dr Who Christmas special (phwooaar... David Tennant), drank lots of wine and watched about 4 episodes of Heroes back to back (phwooaar... just about everyone in it) .

oooh! Dr Who! I watched the repeat - undisturbed this time - phwoar indeed. I hope you'll be glued in to tonight's programme where 'all will be revealed'!

Berrie, did you go to see Hamlet anyway? I bet you were gutted about that. I did think of you.

I also went to see Australia. Well! That's 3 hours of my life I won't have back again, even including the gratutiously fabulously god-worshipingly beautiful shots of Hugh Jackman (who did look A-mazing. ). Wait for the dvd and watch it using fast forward and pause. Nicole Kidman was doing her annoying schtick.

I don't have a tv Zeb .

I get all my thrills vicariously or well after they've actually happened , so I'll be relying on MN to let me know who is the new Dr .
