...... do you realise we've been chatting now for almost 18months .

Berrie, thankyou for the very kind offer to mug your children. It's much appreciated .
Tbh the car only cost £150 last year so it's reached the end of it's days I'm afraid - we need to get another one.

I know the feeling though - I think I've done really well at the shops sometimes, but try as I might I can't get it below £100 a week. Must Try Harder.

Ah. You have a posh printer with different coloured ink cartridges. Wonder if it will come out ok on my old Lexmark? I only insert one cartridge for colour.

I'm shpopping tomorrow so should be able to pick up some ready-to-go cards. A6 is the normal size isn't it? Half an A4 folded in half?

Regardless, I'd love your photos. I use some of the last lot you gave me ( almost a year ago in that pub in London over large glass of wine ) as desktops. They are lovely.

Thank you (Berrie experiences warm glow)Can't remeber what I gave you now so you'll probably get them again. This years are not so nice I think but hopefully this means they'll blimmin' use them this time.
A5 is half of A4, A6 is half of A5. The card will end up A6 size once folded but the piece of card you put in will be A5 size. make sure your printer does A5 first.

You could consider printing them smaller on photo paper, cutting them with a craft knife and glueing them to the card towards the top. You could get smaller, more long and thin cards for this and it would be more cost effective. I've seen them done like this at crafty fairs.

Our printer isn't posh at all BTW!

oggsfrog · 27/11/2008 07:26

I'm sure the printer will be fine. I already use it to make home made Christmas cards with pictures dd has drawn. I shrink them so there are four on an A4 page - it has lots of options, and it takes envelopes (supposedly - I've never ried it for that)

I'm off shopping this morning so will pop into Tescos to see if I can pick up some blank A6 cards.

OK let me know and I'll burn a cd.

oggsfrog · 27/11/2008 14:50

Bum. The only cards they had were pearlescent ones . I bought some re-cycled white envelopes so will just use some A4 card.

That would be great Berrie. Thanks

So are we giving up then chuck? How long has it been now? I suppose it's nearly a year since we met up and longer since it all started.

oggsfrog · 03/12/2008 15:42

Well over 18 months that we've been chatting; a year next month since we met up.

Lays bunch of flowers on thread.

Did you get your dvd?...Berrie has very nasty feeling that the stamps were not enough....Not sure it's worth paying for...I think if I e-mailed them it might jam your internet?

oggsfrog · 03/12/2008 20:13

Not rec'd dvd yet but we have had snow and very heavy frosts so no post today - I'll let you know if it comes tomorrow.

Sending by email would indeed clog up the computer for hours . We have applied for a satellite connection though so hopefully at some point in the future we will be at much better speeds.

OP posts:
Berrie · 04/12/2008 08:27

Boooooo! I want snow

oggsfrog · 04/12/2008 20:38

Thankyou Berrie! The dvd arrived today...no fee to pay .

The one with the spiders web is beautiful. You really have an eye for a lovely photo ...

You have a pair of stunning children too. Dd's hair is gorgeous.

I'll let you know how I get on with the shuffling around. Thank you.

Hello Wooo hoooo woooo (ghostly dead noises)

I hear he has a back injury and has been off stage If you'd been struggling on all December when would you take a sicky?....New Years day that's when!

Went to London again yesterday...am knackered but have 160,000 things to do...
How are you?

oggsfrog · 10/12/2008 11:19

Busy but well thanks . I was so complacent and smug during end Oct/beg Nov thinking that I was making most of the Christmas pressies and how I would avoid all the hectic shopping. I had it all in the bag.

Today I realised just how close it is to Christmas and just how little I've done . Bugger. Will be spending the next week hunched over my knitting needles

How was London? Do anything interesting?

OP posts:
Berrie · 10/12/2008 11:29

No...another meeting at Westminster. Mad rush all day. Don't fancy doing that again.

Ds in show today! We are not going until tomorrow, I am really excited. He said his wings had been ruined though with children trying to flutter them. I was in school last night doing lessons so I crept down through the dark corridors to the infant bit, found his wings and tried to straighten them but they remain a little bashed up I'm afraid. Ah well.

How are you getting on with your notelets? I'm off to get some ribbon to present them with. Did you do a calender? I've done a mixture of those ridgid binders and ribbon to hold tjouse together...I'm going to look for bulldog clips this year...can you get prety ones do you think? Won't look too good will it...

Berrie · 10/12/2008 11:29

Oh yeah....creaks floorbaord...

oggsfrog · 12/12/2008 12:29

How did ds do? Did you have to surrepticiously wipe away a proud tear or have to smother giggles?
