IceCreamy · 17/02/2009 13:51

am reading Haunted by Chuck palahniuk (he who wrote the film Fight Club) absolutely brilliant. and disgusting and wonderful. i love how much he hates society and the stupid rules of the world and how we are so blinkered in our little lives all just trying to earn more money!

IceCreamy · 17/02/2009 13:52

dds best friend is 4 in september and she is 3 and a bit stone. bit taller then my dd, who is 3 in June. theyll be in same school year!!

i should have put that i wrote lots of web address in my pocket diarty when i flick through the magazines.

ds2 wont even sit on the potty, he has been nappy free during the day for 3 days but he has refused to sit on the potty, he will just stand up and pee on the floor, if i try to put him on the potty he goes all ridgid and wont bend to sit down. so we are getting no where fast. may just give up and wait till the summer??? im sure ds1 was potty trained by now though.
just had half a packet of giant buttons. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm feel a bit sick now though!

worley · 17/02/2009 20:38

Oh and Ikea was brilliant yesterday. I got there first thing, whizzed round, packed the car (not the estate and there was a pram in the back too) had my lunch, whizzed back in again for a couple of things I forgot, and was home by 13.30. Got 2 chairs erected for the children and went to Yoga.

IceCreamy · 17/02/2009 21:30

I was listening to the chap from Oxford this morning on Radio4. Missed the begining bit, but he was explaining about how it would take his PhD student over 100 years to do the work that everybody has done so far. Amateurs are doing what the high powered telescopes can't do.

worley · 18/02/2009 14:13

in the words of ds2
yay toystory yay yay!!!!
he has a thing for buzz lightyear, ds1 has leny him his buzz toys which ds1 isnt happy about but he doesnt play with them anymore, but he wont give them to ds2 so he has lent them to him!! ds1 also had a buzz lightyear duvet set im going to go dig out for ds2 as well, see if that encourages him to sleep in his bed!!!! doubt it but i can dream

worley · 18/02/2009 14:16

that place looks nice md. im still waiting for dp to have his holiday conmfirmed, his work are really jarring me off now as i really want to get the holiday book so i know we are going, but they are being pains in the arse about it, and saying he can only have 1 week off during the summer months, ffs. thats not even enough time to go abroad or something for us lot. we only want to go to wales. last time i went to wales i was 12 and on a school adventure trip, brilliant time!!

Macdog · 18/02/2009 14:27
