Bettys, Enid et al - don't forget she's back at eight.

Bea, who are your favourite character and villain? Are you another Spike girl or do Georgina and I have him all to ourselves?

Enid · 13/03/2003 12:29

Favourite ep: Innocence? - the one where Angel goes bad
Favourite villain, definitely the Mayor, and I loved Dru too
Favourite character; lovely lovely OZ!

GeorginaA · 13/03/2003 13:02

I've heard that too nerdgirl, I think on the DVD commentary for that ep although I couldn't swear to it.

nerdgirl · 13/03/2003 14:33

Thanks Georgina, glad to know I didn't invent that one!

Enid, totally agree on 'Innocence'. I loved Angelus' first appearance. But I have a thing for him anyway. He is definitely going to appear in Season 4 of Angel and probably for a few episodes.

Ah, Oz. I keep forgetting about him but he did get the best lines!! Remember - "Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings. Shindig: dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage. And hootenanny: well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny"

Enid · 13/03/2003 14:36

nerdgirl - thanks for that oz quote to brighten my day! Agree that he had ALL the best lines. Sigh.

Ah, angelus - will he be Fat Angelus now though I wonder.

nerdgirl · 13/03/2003 14:59

May the good Lord protect us from fat Angelus!!

Here's hoping David discovers the joys of slimfast before the sexiest character on TV makes his appearance!

nerdgirl · 14/03/2003 08:13

Well, last night we got Spike with his shirt off, sparkage between himself and Buffy and a broody Angel. I'm happy!

nerdgirl · 14/03/2003 08:22

Did I really just type the word "sparkage"?! I think I'm becoming possessed by the spirit of Joss Wheadon!!

What next? "Five-by-Five" "The Wacky" "Grr-Arrgh" ?!?

Enid · 14/03/2003 09:12

So is 'The First' the Master?? Confused.

Enid · 14/03/2003 09:18

nerdgirl - you are a mine of buffyspeak, you don't play computer games too by any chance?

pie · 14/03/2003 10:47

I have read somewhere that when Angelus does make his apperance this season he kills Lilah.

I have to say that I think its a good thing that now that shows are on different networks and they no longer have cross overs....can you imagone Buffy's face if she heard about Cordelia and Angel???????? :D

GeorginaA · 14/03/2003 11:24

Remember the ep way back in season 3 where Angel (newly returned from the dead) was being tormented by evil and was about to kill himself only it snowed during the day so he didn't go all flamy? That was The First. (the no-eyed monk type things are the same). The vampire that was raised is presumably the first ever vampire (not the master) that's discussed in the first ever episode of Buffy.

Nerdgirl - don't forget Spike tied up and helpless

nerdgirl · 14/03/2003 21:53

You're right Georgina, I'm definitely slipping! Imagine leaving bondage off my list!! Bad NerdGirl!! How could I forget?!?

It was "the kind of sense that wasn't"!

That one was for you Enid and no I don't play a lot of computer games but I do program the damn things for a living.

platinum1 · 17/03/2003 19:14

Hi there,
New to this site. It's great.
Yes, Angelus does come back in Season 4, but it is not him that kills Lilah...not telling who does though!!!!!
It's a great season. I also think that Season 7 of Buffy is one of the best, much more like the first two.
Joannexx

nerdgirl · 17/03/2003 20:00

So Lilah's definitely toast then, Platinum? Bummer! I really liked her. She was such a great bitch!

Drooling over Angelus as we speak.

Are you posting from across the pond? Have you actually seen the Angelus episodes? Tell me he's not porky! Pleeeeease!!

willow2 · 17/03/2003 22:34

NO BLOODY SPOILERS PLEASE!

Not that you're not welcome Joanne.

OP posts:
willow2 · 17/03/2003 22:41

Sorry, didn't mean to shout.

OP posts:
nerdgirl · 18/03/2003 09:23

OK Willow. You're right. No more spoilers. Sorry.

But Joanne, seriously, is he fat?

platinum1 · 19/03/2003 18:42

Hi,
Didn't mean to give you spoilers..Pie had said earlier she had heard he came back. Anyway no more I promise.
I am in the UK nerdgirl, but my mates hubby downloads them from the USA for his daughter and then passes them to me, so I have just seen EP16 of Buffy and 13 of Angel, and they are VERY good. I have actually met James Marsters twice and Emma Caulfield too. Meeting the Angel lot in 7 weeks, but not the man himself I'm sorry to say.
Yep..I am sad (my hubby tells me I am anyway), but what the hell. its a break from the real world occassionally, and we all need that don't we.
Joannexx

platinum1 · 19/03/2003 18:43

ps.....yes, he's still fat!!!!!

tallulah · 19/03/2003 20:20

Anyone else see Manchild last night? Giles in the nude..eughhh!

nerdgirl · 19/03/2003 20:36

Joanne, you could have lied to me and left me to my drooling!!

You've met James Marsters! You know, I've never liked you!!

Seriously, is he really that gorgeous? Feel free to lie to me, ok? I need one of my fantasy bad boys!!

As for your 'sadness', I think you're in good company here!!

Lord, am I in a smiley mood tonight!!

bettys · 19/03/2003 20:54

Tallulah - I have to disagree; thought ASH looked pretty damn good in the nude, and could have only been improved by him singing as well!

GeorginaA · 20/03/2003 20:59

I'm convinced that english proto slayer is about to burst into a rendition of "juss yoo wayt 'enry 'iggins juss yoo wayt"...

... if the First doesn't kill her, can I at least slap her around a bit?!!!!

bea · 21/03/2003 07:36

ha! ha|! GeorginaA... but do agree... surprised giles didn't put 'er right!!!

but must say it was ahumdinger of an ep!... even more so for angel... things are all hotting up for a huge showdown..are we almost at the end of the series already!?... plus there doesn't seem to have been too many stand alone eps ... if you know what i mean?

and Nerdgirl!, sorry it's taken me a while to reply!... i think i have to inform you all that we're all hankering for poor ole spike... love him best when he's pretending he hates helping buff out but really loves it... i.e. when he had to look after dawn in the days of Glory!, half bad but half good...but didn't you love him last night when he said it's cos she believes in him... when confronted by the big bad last night!...

sorry can't be bothered to check if this sounds alright! a bit early in the morning for me! so excuse the dodgy english!... - but then again it didn't bother eliza doolittle slayer!
