ooo! very excited... i'd forgotton about the whole spike human thing until i saw a trailer this morning! very excited!

and I want to see how Angel gets out of that box! (I assume he does otherwise it's going to be a very short and boring season ;o) )

Glad to see other grown-ups are as obsessed as I am (are you?). The forums on the Buffy websites all seem to be for 14 year olds.

What did you all think? Very intrigued by Principal Wood, myself. Hope Spike gets more Spike-y.

WHAT did they do to poor Spike!!!! Wow, Xander looked almost studley in that suit, didn't he? Dawn's becoming much more likeable now - wonder if we'll see Kit and the other lad in future eps.

What was all that about in Istanbul at the beginning - I remembered it later then forgot how it all linked.

Anyone noticed that for all it's a brand new school, the corridors look almost identical to the original set only with a paint job

poor spikey! ... so is the Master back? or is it all part of spikes imagination? has he conjured up the master in that tortured mind of his... or is it just a manifestation of evil?... very puzzled! and if he hated being human so much, why not just go out and get bitten by a vampire again!?

I thought that was some new evil (the one Anya was warned about and Willow felt in the earth) that was manifesting different forms. Wonder if that's supposed to be the big bad for the season?

Obviously by what Spike has done, this big bad has control over him regardless that Spike is now "good" - so no wonder he's feeling a bit of a tortured soul!

Was disappointed it wasn't a new Angel this week Trailers for next week look good though.

I thought the Big Bad Evil might be whatever Spike went to see at the end of the last series to get his soul back. This would maybe tie into how It has control over Spike. I hope it is the new Big Bad Being for the season.

Agree about Principle Wood - very intriguing. I though initially he might be a new "watcher" type character but not so sure now.

And Spike needs to sort his hair out.

Back with a bang I thought. Much more promising than last series. Think the new evil is every evil that has ever come before - hence the numerous manifestations of old adversaries. Also that bit where the other vengeance demon told Anya that all the other ones were there. Something big is brewing - hoorah!

Yes, Spike's hair is dreadful now, isn't it. What is this - get your soul back and suddenly your hair goes limp?!

Are they grooming Dawn as the replacement Buffy? (2 new friends, one boy, one girl, none fit in..). Sarah M G has already said this'll probably be her last Season.

willow2 I thought the same as you about the this season's baddy. I had also forgotten about the Istanbul bit, there's certainly a lot going on. At the risk of upsetting all Spike's fans, but is it my imagination that as well as developing an 80s hair style he's also developed a slightly soft belly..?

am not reading this thread i think your all awful i cant get buffy or ER on my telly. i so want to read it but i know i willbe watching repeats for three years anyway

wow - very good episodes I was completely gripped.

Anyone think those girls being killed in different countries are proto slayers? We know that Kendra was taken away from her family as a kid and trained before she became a slayer, and that last girl in Frankfurt certainly seemed to know some fighting moves...

At least Spike had decent hair in this episode, much improvement. Not sure I'm liking the insanity thing though - we've done both insane vamps and vamps with a soul before, hoping they're going somewhere new with this.

Still think that headmaster has got to be evil.

Hope "Angel" Cordy goes back to being "Queen Bitch" Cordy or the floaty sparkly heaven bits could get a bit dull. YAY for Wesley! I loved the "I'll take away your bucket" line...

This thread so makes me laugh. dh used to write for Buffy and it used to drive him made when he was told he couldn't do this with a character or that because it was out of character. Now I know why!

I'm not allowed to watch buffy any more as a consequence!
