Hmm, that sounded all wrong.
Where is Berrie?

oggsfrog · 28/05/2008 11:00

Mmmm hmmmm

Hope Berrie is okay.

Zebedeedoodah · 28/05/2008 11:10

Yummy . Not 'alf bad Oggs. Lyra, I'll [reluctantly] let you keep DT, I prefer a little more beef. Best line in Dr Who was when Donna said he'd snap in half like a twiglet. So who does that leave for Oggs, Binkle & Berrie? Any takers for Lee?

Berrie, where are you? I hope you're ok.

I'm now going through my appraisal forms where they're all saying lovely things about me. That's also cheering me up.

oggsfrog · 28/05/2008 11:20

I'd like shares on Hugh please.
Failing that I'll make do with Jake Gyllenhaal, Ioan Gruffud, the male cast of Heroes and Joaquin Phoenix thanks very much .

LyraSilvertongue · 28/05/2008 11:22

No takers for Lee then? . Funny isn't it.

oggsfrog · 28/05/2008 11:24

Oh, don't get me wrong Lyra, I wouldn't chuck him and his thighs out of bed....
... it's just that he wouldn't be my first (or apparently 2nd, 3rd etc ) choice

LyraSilvertongue · 28/05/2008 11:26

He's far too Mr Nice Guy cum Walter The Softy for my liking

oggsfrog · 28/05/2008 11:29

He wouldn't have to speak

Zebedeedoodah · 28/05/2008 11:33

Oggs, about that 'shortlist'. Is that all at the same time? I'd agree with Ioan and Jake, but can I add Rufus Sewell, and Richard Armitage for when Hugh's not available? And ok, for old time's sake we'll include Lee for his thighs and soulfull singing.

oggsfrog · 28/05/2008 11:37

Mmm, maybe not all at once .

You can have Rufus Sewell all to yourself Zeb , but can I borrow Richard Armitage to read to me please?

LyraSilvertongue · 28/05/2008 11:41

I don't want anyone on your list.
I'll settle for Josh Holloway from Lost.
Maybe Will Smith if he's in town.

oggsfrog · 28/05/2008 11:44

Ooh, Will Smith in the film with him and the dog and the vampirey type thingies..... mmm-mmmmm.
You can have Sawyer, although again, I wouldn't kick hims out of bed...

Zebedeedoodah · 28/05/2008 13:59

I've got a might large bed at the moment, but I'm about to downsize, albeit to a gorgeous mahogany four-poster (err, I hope). Still, that makes it cozy. . Having RA just read to you seems a bit of a waste though. Never having seen Lost, you can keep Sawyer.

LyraSilvertongue · 28/05/2008 14:06

Zeb, you don't know what you're missing.
Have you been to see your new landlord yet? All systems go?

Zebedeedoodah · 28/05/2008 14:15

I'll check it out for you.

I did, however, bottle the landlord. I realised that I couldn't in all conscience do it without having told him. So I'm going to have to tell him over the phone tonight that I'm going to do it tomorrow - he wanted me to interview an au pair tonight, which is when reality hit me. So I then had a bit of a sob in the office and my boss dragged me out for a bit more chainsmoking and a glass of wine to calm me down. So I'm now feeling calm but dreading tonight. Chances are he's going to jump on a train and come straight back. It's not going to change my mind though.

oggsfrog · 28/05/2008 14:20

I didn't want to be too greedy Zeb as I'll already be rather occupied with the Heroes bunch, and he does have a fantastic voice.
He did a Ted Hughes play/reading on R4 a while back and it was delicious - aural dark chocolate .

LyraSilvertongue · 28/05/2008 14:20

Zeb. You poor thing. I don't envy you but you know you'll feel better once it's done.
Wishing you the best of luck for tonight and lots of hugs.

oggsfrog · 28/05/2008 14:29

Sorry Zeb, that looks a bit insensitive. I took ages posting it, and you snuck in there.

So you're telling dh tonight? God. Good luck sweetie.

Berrie · 28/05/2008 14:32

Just caught up, will be thinking of you Zeb.
Got to fly! Got a lesson in a mo.

Zebedeedoodah · 28/05/2008 14:44

Thank you all. I'll be stopping by the white wine and fags shop on the way home tonight, I suspect. My boss (lovely girl) is on stand-by to come over if needed, but I may, or may not drop in here as well, depending how it all goes and what sort of a state I'm in.

Aural dark chocolate sounds scrummy. But I can do better. The lovely girls here have just done an oral dark choccy run. There's nothing that can't be solved with a huge bar of Green & Black's dark mint.

LyraSilvertongue · 28/05/2008 15:02

I'll keep an eye out for you. I'll have my fingers crossed too.

Zebedeedoodah · 28/05/2008 15:06

Thank you.

oggsfrog · 28/05/2008 20:27

Hope Zeb's okay

LyraSilvertongue · 28/05/2008 21:11

Any news?

Zebedeedoodah · 29/05/2008 06:54

Morning all. Phew. I have the hangover from hell, but last night went well. I told him and it was just a very sad, civilised conversation rather than anything else. So we're treating it as a separation rather than slamming any doors IYSWIM. He's also being fine about me taking whatever I need with me and just generally being supportive. Very sad. So I'll get the keys today and gradually sort things out ready for me & DS to move in next week.
Now I just have to speak to my parents later and try to prevent them jumping in the car and driving straight over!
Thanks you guys. You've all been great, and I just feel that a weight's been lifted off. One step at a time, but I'm now really looking forward to getting into my place.
