I was out at a book launch till after midnight last night and up at 5.30 for work so as you can imagine I'm feeling a little tired...
I've brought a box of Mr Kipling mini Victoria sponges in with me.

Mr Kipling sounds like a great way to celebrate.
So spill. What was the book, who was the author, and more importantly, who did you schmooze with?
I stayed in and watch the new Jane Austen thing. It was hysterical and definitely worth watching.

The book's called Gym and Tonic by Emma Burstall, the wife of DP's colleague, a Mirror columnist. Didn't schmooze with anyone famous (well, not very).

Or rather, Gym and Slimline. I keep getting that wrong.

I think Gym and tonic sounds much better.

Right, gonna go home soon as my new boss is doing my head in. However, I'm going to attempt to access the internet from home again, so fingers crossed.

No, I'm currently killing time looking forward to a hellish joyful bathtime. Sigh. DP will be back in time to help put them to bed.

Do they get a bath every night? We can only bath if we've had the burner on all day to heat the water, so we usually only get 1 a week.

Roughly every other night. I'd skip it but they're both a bit grubby, especially DS2's feet. And he needs his hair washed. Sigh again. Right, I need to get going.

One of my colleagues has just brought in this week's Now magazine, which has some pictures of Lee and DvO all loved up. It seems current gossip is she's in the club - come on Berrie, we need you to speak to MFL'sF!
And hurrah! I got internet access at home last night. I just couldn't for the life of me remember my login, so I couldn't share the joy. I'll try again later.

Thanks for the rain you cow! I had visions of our invigorating walks up to school in the crisp autumn sunshine, kicking up the leaves. We keep having to do in the car.

HELP! I am going to be filmed next month doing the tutoring for a DVD that will go to all schools in 2009. How many stones does the camera add?

p.s. just finished the box of chocolate biscuits I bought for ds's Friday lunch box treat(felt a bit sorry for him when he tells me what the other kids have)
