Threads that have been done a thousand times...

Pretty much every thread has been done a thousand times at this point

Someone saying they're either well off or poor. Both typically meet with competitive responses from people claiming to be much more the thing being claimed.

theworldie · 29/01/2025 15:35

Enjoying your life and having a large mortgage. You should be buying yellow sticker food only, buy clothes from vinted and holiday's should be self catering in a tent in order to pay off your mortgage when you're 35 and never have any debt.

Threads that start with we have a joint income of £250k pa but we’re struggling, don’t go down too well (understandably).

Having a child named Bradley or Chardonnay.

Women who are happy being a Mrs.

I was annoyed last week when I saw the list of new KC barristers.

All the men were Mr.

The women were variously Mrs, Miss or Ms. Why do we need to know their marital status. They didn't need to mention titles at all.

I’d have thought loads of people on here would buy their dogs Christmas presents!

I get Christmas presents for family members' pets and I wrap them up.

Anyone who writes me (F28), my partner (M31) and our Ddog (M7) or variations on that theme.

Men. Women married to men (aka male sympathisers)

dynamiccactus · 29/01/2025 15:43

Wearing white or beige to a wedding, even if your dress looks nothing like a wedding dress, and similar dresses are being sold in lots of outlets like Phase Eight - targeted at: - weddings.

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 29/01/2025 15:44

And intolerant people. MN will not tolerate intolerant people.

Surrogacy

I am completely on board with that. Women are not incubators.

Being over 65.
You are being unreasonable you stupid boomer, and you're probably a MIL and never did a day's work in your life.
You're a parasite for drawing your pension and you'll be needing someone to change your nappy soon... and I assume you're a right wing conservative Brexiteer.

Ha yes! they are all thick, mad, selfish and fabulously wealthy , probably narcissistic and eat horrible unhealthy food

Strugglingtocometoterms · 29/01/2025 15:44
  1. Not giving ALL pertinent information in the opening post (if you add further info, you are committing the heinous crime MN calls 'drip feeding')
  2. Posts being too long, too well written or 'wordy' (you must be AI and this isn't a writing competition you know 🙄

Saying your child’s age in months or weeks.

‘My dd is 56 weeks old’

Game over.
