Myself and my partner should of known this.
We have kids but not married
I live in his house but am not on the mortgage.

We also have Bitey large XL Bullies that are great with the kids.

Scented bubble bath - everyone bangs on about how it gives you thrush.

Dried fruit.
Fruit of any sort. Full of sugar!
However, also diet drinks. Why does my T1 diabetic husband think we should have diet drinks in the house? Poison I tell you, sheer poison.

Making one meal for the family "and that's what's for dinner". Poor little DCs, being served things they don't like!

Whoops, sorry for the autocorrect. I realise it makes my posts totally unreadable and impossible to understand. 😏

Adults having sex with other adults in or within half a mile of any building that might happen to contain a child (even if the child is 17 and much more interested in their own sex life than that of their parents).

Reproducing before age 30

Not leaving the bastard after the inconsiderate prick leaves his coffee mug on the side

Any show of patriotism

Giving your child a name in the top 100 (there will definitely be 5 other Daniel's in his school class)

Making a spelling mistake or grammatical error on your post where you're having a mental breakdown the husband's left the landlord is selling but you forgot to use a comma and that's unacceptable

HTH

OP describes a situation or person who ticks almost all the boxes for neurodivergence. However the MN neurodivergence police will absolutely forbid anyone to suggest that the person in question could be ND in any way as it triggers some bizarre nerve of their own self identity. Especially if the person in question is a man, he has to be a 100% asshole garbage human being and you are never, ever allowed to suggest undiagnosed ND being a reason for male behaviour.

But it’s irrelevant. Having autism is not an excuse for being an abusive prick.

Most of us with autism are perfectly nice, loving people. Most of us are far more likely to be abused than to be the abuser. Shitty behaviour is shitty behaviour regardless of the “reason”. If someone is autistic, it doesn’t mean their loved ones have to put up with being treated terribly.

They do, but there was a thread a year or two ago, where we were all getting pulled apart from it because they're just animals so why bother. You could spend that money on your kids!

  • Taking your husband's name.
  • Giving your children their Fathers name
  • Putting him on the birth certificate
  • Men in general
  • Anything less than showering twice a day and washing your hands every 15 minutes whether they need it or not
  • The idea of doing a favour for a friend; even if it has no impact on your life whatsoever. Absolutely unthinkable if it involves inconveniencing yourself in any way at all.
  • Being friends with colleagues
  • Attending a wedding of any kind
  • Wearing something you already own to a wedding (not that you should be attending a wedding, see above point)
  • Being invited to anything, but most notably, being invited to weddings
  • Putting your child in a forward facing car seat at any point before they go to Uni.
  • In-Laws of any kind
  • Step-mums of any kind

I could be here all day.

All of this!

I find the attitude to doing favours for people who are supposed to be your friends particularly bonkers! I get it if they're taking the piss constantly asking and never reciprocating, but the way people go on about the "wear and tear" on your car if you give a pal a lift to the hobby group you're going to anyway, once a week, is bizarre.

We DO also spend money on kids though!
When money was tight and son young I definitely made dog coats rather than buying them ( They are ridiculously expensive for what they are) and only bought small dog presents!
