Hi everyone
I thought I was going to stick with Bubbblegum, but having spoke to partner he said to find out peoples opinion on Rascals, as they have said yes also and would like us to take out son in to see them.
Kitsch kids said yes, but Im not sure if we will accept there offer.
So if anyone could advise on wether we should consider rascals over BG would be a great help

hi tinkerbelle.. dd is with rascals and doing quite well, although was a slow start. i'm fairly sure they get plenty of work but of course always down to what the client is after in the end ! they've been around a long time and as far as i can tell are highly reputable in the business. if they want to see your ds is a good idea to go along as you'll probably get your own feeling as to whether they are right for you. their website fees are more than some but they are happy to update your photos as and when.. and u can use your own photographer.. good luck !

Just got a phone call from Rupert I am still struggling to believe it!!
He sounded like a complete different guy on the phone so maybe I was a bit too quick to judge him.They're going to send the contract later in the day. Now I need to contact Bizzykidz and cancel the contract with them

Congrats Luce, and well done to ds. I knew they'd say yes. Haven't received dd's contract yet, but will be sending it straight back before they change their minds .
I was in shock when Rupert rang too, he was really chatty, but he rang when I was in the playground picking up dc's so it was really noisy, and I was just thinking OMG!
Anyway, hopefully our dc's will start getting jobs soon, all so exciting!

Congrats for getting accepted with Urban Angels, they are all so lovely, i'm sure the calls will start soon now, dd1s first casting was the day after our call offering her a contract!

Thanks girls!But I won't believe it until I receive ds' contract!!!I keep tellimg myself that I just dreamt about it...
Totallyfloat35 : yes Rupert told me it will take a month for the picsto be up.I really can't wait to get ds' gonna have it made into a big canvas!

Just saved UA's number and realized that they did try to contact me on Monday am as well!![shok] I remember finding a missed call but didn't recognise the number and they didn't leave a message so didn't think much about it

Hi totally..yes he said a month to me .I hate that waiting bit to see the new photos.I wont be able to not keep checking ds webpage to see if they are there, like some saddo
Rupert asked for dd size updates by the 27th so they should be done around then.
How did you get on with dd2 ?

DD2 did not get accepted,didnt think she would,older they get the harder it is to get a new agent,oh well, mot,rascals,scallywags,bubblegum and ak said yes,so will remove her from kl soon(she not really high end fashion material) and i would like to be with an agency that occasionally aknowledged my emails
any castings for your lot marymay/lanis? Dead as a dead thing in dead land with us

My ds's got a no from ua too, thats the second time we got invited for assesment but didn't get in, so won't try again now, on the positive side it made my mind up for me to keep them with mot.

Best of luck everyone who got accepted, can't wait to hear how you all get on.

my two havent had any castings for about a month.We are going away for a month soon it will be sods law they miss some good stuff then.
Hope you get something sorted out for dd2 .

Hello. I'm new on here and just wanted some advice/opinion. Sent some pics of DS (5 months) to a few agencies on a whim yesterday (e-mailed). Had an e-mail back from Rascals today asking us to call to arrange an assessment - is it worth it? What I mean is, do they generally ask everyone who sends photos to attend? Also sent some to Kitsch Kids and will probably send a few more to others. We're Midlands based. Just wanted some advice really on what to do when starting out? I actually didn't expect a response so it's thrown me a little! Thanks x

Im also midlands (leicester)
Have 3 children i have sent off pictures for 2 agencys bizzykidz and standout in leicester i am waiting to hear from standout but bizzykidz have got back to me wanting all 3! so now im abit doubiuos as they want £320 to sign on all 3 do you useally pay a fee for an agency? im really new to this and want to get it right any advice would be great also if anyone can reccommend any agencies that would be fab i dont mind travelling with them so any reccomendations greatly accepted!!!!

I thinks its difficult to say with bizzykidz, i have heard they always get seen at castings, but have also heard of lots of people who join them and never have a thing.
I hear of a lot of people getting accepted with them, they must have so many on their books, they are a legit agency though.

BK do get work when my DD was with them she did 4 castings and a film,but they have a huge amount of kids on the books.Some kids do better than others,but thats the same with any agent.
You have more chance of castings with a smaller agency,but jobs are decided by the client in the end.

Dk models are a good midlands agency they don't have tons of jobs but they get a fair few my ds did a mamas and papas job when he was 6 monhs for them.
He is with bruce and brown now but out of all the agencys he has been with I would reccomend dk
