Lighgen, had a look at the children, they are lovely. I love the pic with baby covered in what looks like chocolate. She has beautiful blue eyes.

just couple clear snapshots to few agencies, sae, that's it.

Hi all
yesterday got a call out the blue for my elder ds for an availability check for Nokia, he's with BK, I know I never mention him, but he's not really into it any more, so Im concentrating on little ds, anyway I had to say no gggrrrr!! as he's under exams at the moment. but he was interested, so am now going to update his pics.
Lighen hope you got my mail? with the relevant info? the pic in junior is fantastic!

i'm in suffolk. can they be pics which have been done by a photographer? dh brother is a pretty well known one in our area which is handy.

hi fairy.. most agencies want to see regular snapshots.. but u can have a look on their websites to see what they specify. Other good agencies are rascals, scallywags, elisabeth smith and norrie carr.. these are pretty established and reputable agencies although they do have higher fees than some. Good luck !

even easier if casting for hands LOL, we were just given shoot dates? maybe after that they would have given me a casting date who knows, the good thing is, is that they are putting him forward and I havent updated since 2006, so they nicely said maybe a good idea to update him, and he seems up for it now
Are you with BK too and how old is your ds?

Our boys have a big age difference considering they were both being cast for the same ad??, my elder ds is 17 and with BK, and my litle ds is 6 and with KL, both originally started with ES, then AK, then BK and KL, have done the rounds of the agencies so to speak

Hiya - I was just after a wee bit of advice.

We have been approached by a few agencies - most requirung a joining fee etc so am a bit wary. Have had an email to arrange an appointment with the Model Team, have had a look and they are on the Alba Website - does this mean they can be trusted/arent gonna want £100's to join the agency?

Is there likely to be much work in Scotland for a 1 yo boy?

(Pics on profile - can handle honesty - he will always be gorgeous to me )

geordieminx, I think your baby is more than suitable for modelling, he has a lovely open smile, and is very cute
I thnk that there is a Bizzykidz agency in Scotland, just go to their website and take it from there. www.bizzykidz.co.uk.

Hi everyone!
I am mum to a 20 months old DS who's been with BK since he was 8 months old but with no success.Since we joined them we only had one job from direct booking for the BBC in Januar this year.
I applied to KL two weeks ago but I got told that they have too many boys with similar looks in his age group.BB thinks he's not right for its agency and ES thinks they wouldn't find him any work.Not a good start,I would say
I have now apply to UA and got an mail saying they've put him on a shortlist and they will let me know in few weeks time if they want to see him.
What do you think?Is it a good sign?Or do they say this to anybody who applies?
I have put some pics of my ds on my profile and I would really appreciate it if you could have a peak and tell me what you really think about him.

Hi Luce,your profile isnt on site.
My baby is with U/A and they are a very good agency,last time their books were open they had 2000 applications.Being put on the shortlist is ok,sometimes they just email a straight no,also you can be called to the photo shoot and turned down at that stage anyway.The owner likes her numbers to be small and wont take on kids that look like those she already has.
Have you tried MOT JUNIOR or Alphabet Kids,i know both of those agencies do get work.

I applied to MOT ages ago but never got a reply from them.AK said yes but a good friend of mine had her kid with them but wasn't at all impressed and didn't say good things about them. I got a yes from Babyshak,Rascals,Bubblegum,Childsplay,Kitshkids
I think now my pics are visible

Hi luce.. your little boy is gorgeous ! isnt it so difficult to know what to do for the best when you feel you're not getting represented well from your agency ! have you called to have a chat with them? ultimately it is all down to what the clients are after. I do know that BK have quite a large amount of kiddies on their books and from what I've heard some are very happy and some are not.. I'd try with MOT again if you didnt hear from them, maybe your 1st application was overlooked or mislaid.. they are supposed to be a very good agency. Good luck !

Hi Luce2206, Your ds is lovely. I agree with Brooke77, i would try again with MOT. When i sent my dd pics to KL i did'nt hear back from them, so after three weeks i called them up. Apparently they wanted her on their books and had sent the papers out two weeks previously. They posted another set and i received them two days later. SO i am glad that i rang or they would have thought that i was'nt interested. The other set of papers turned up a week later in a right old mess. You have got nothink to lose, so try again.
