Does anyone have any info about Rascals? Is it worth going for an assessment and how many kids do they have on thier books? Any info at all about them would be good!

hi cjmommmy.. see one of my posts below re. rascals.. we are with them.. they are a highly reputable agency.. i doubt they invite all children to assessment ! good luck

3kids1cat: did you receive the contract?and if you did, did you have to sign for it? I am asking because yesterday the postman left me a note saying a recorded signed for could not be delivered to me because I was out and a signature was required.

yes models direct are a scam NO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY! look on the alba website to find out all the reputable agencies in london and apply to them. good luck

hi all 2 of my 3 children (feel abit sorry for my middle ds!) have been asked to come to an assesment with rascals.... say i go for the assesment what happens? do i have to pay for the assesment do they have joining charges etc?

Sorry I haven't been on here for ages
Well done to all the UA new people and people with castings.
Well my DS's year contract is almost up with SW and they haven't been in touch- does that mean that's it...and they don't want him next year?
Feel a bit because although we only had 3 castings and 3 jobs I would still like to continue and try this with DS (although he had a shoot at the local photographer as part of his toddler club thing and the photgrapher only managed 9 pictures!). But it feels a bit odd that they haven't written to us or called.
I had been thinking of applying to other agencies- just rubbish at getting round to things - so maybe I should actually make an effort!

hi wigglesmum.. when my ds was with SW his contract ran over a year one time. Have you spoken with them? Prob best to if you want to continue.. also may be poss that the new contracts been mislaid in the post ! I'd say 3 jobs/castings not bad at all and plenty reason to want him to stay on ! good luck

Don't worry too much, he's done really well!!
Have you checked if his profile is still on the website - if it is I doubt you'd need to be worrying. I'd give them a call, our post can be unreliable so don't panic yet more than likely mislaid.

Oops- sorry everyone that was a typo-my DS has had 3 castings and NO jobs! Oh dear I really do feel so about that typo! Cringe!

So you can see why I think SW might not want to bother if he's only had the 3 castings!...

ds had a great time at the test shoot and I am sure your ds would have loved it.The guys are all very nice.
They even sent me some still from the day

Luce - one picture wouldnt work, but the first did and its gorgeous!!! Im gutted we cant go but stuff has come up which we cant change, a shame though.

Brooke - thank you for your info, Im so stuck. As to be honest Im not even sure if at the minute I can afford to change agencies. So Im unsure. Its a shame but we're gonna probably have to wait and see next month if there still interested LOL!

good luck to all with castings/jobs this week

wigglemum - maybe try another agent, as i have said before we had one straight job with them in a year being with them which didnt compensate the fees paid out, we changed agent and for us we have had lots of nice jobs and didnt have to pay out to join the other agent. i have seen a few sw kids at castings mainly tv ones than photographic. good luck in your decisions.

we are with Sw and they never renew on time so you tend to get 14 months worth of contract. Ours was up in March this year and we have only just had the forms through.
