Intense driving lessons and a car.

StMarieforme · 13/04/2024 19:51

My house. Well actually one near me that I love for about £750k.

ElleLeopine · 13/04/2024 19:51

I would get a cleaner.

BirthdayRainbow · 13/04/2024 19:51

A house so I can tell STBEH to fuck off.
New trainers and a puppy.
plus homes for all my children.

Borka · 13/04/2024 19:52

A detached house, so I can get away from my noisy neighbours

Needmorelego · 13/04/2024 19:53

A house is the obvious one but that doesn't happen overnight so the first thing I would do is go on a shopping spree in Lego Store (paying for a taxi there and back - no public transport 😂).

IntriguingFactJumble · 13/04/2024 19:53

Helicopter ride to see my dad, decadent Lego set, then stuff for partner and child.

DistinguishedSocialCommentator · 13/04/2024 19:54

Nothing as we wont win it as we have not done it since it went twice a week donkeys years ago

PaminaMozart · 13/04/2024 19:54

A house overlooking the river.

And first class travel all the way.

SocksOnTheSaucepan · 13/04/2024 19:56

Some Basildon Bond to write out my resignation (was shouted at in my healthcare job today, have just about had enough).

A house with a driveway so I don’t have to constantly move my car to avoid traffic wardens.

A house for my sister next door to mine.

A car for me (modest but new).

Get my parents’ teeth sorted with world class dentistry.

Trust fund for my nieces.

A full time chef.

Houseinawood · 13/04/2024 19:57

House

Youdontknowmedoyou · 13/04/2024 20:01

A night in a hotel. Just one night. Enough to not be in the house or working or having to deal with anything at all.

Tisfortired · 13/04/2024 20:02

Pay off all our debts first, about 20k altogether.

Then I’d gather just our passports and book us first class tickets to somewhere fabulous where the kids can play whilst me and DP plan our next move, which if it was up to me would be to buy us a modest but lovely villa on the Italian coast where we can live La Dolce Vita for a while. I’d pay off our parents mortgages and give them 500k each so they can retire early (all only in their 50s.)

But that will never happen because I have never put the lottery on in my 33 years and probably won’t start now!

Pay off kids' mortgages.

Someone on another lottery thread advised against that! She said you should invest the money (at a higher rate than the mortgage interest) and use the interest to pay the mortgage. That way you still have the lump sum.

Hope you need that info in the future!

Immediate purchase ~ a diamond tiara.

More long term purchase ~ a small palazzo in Venice.
