What's the 1st thing you'd buy if you won 10 million on the lottery

I'd buy myself a small eternity ring made with small diamonds, but only the created diamonds. Then the rest would be on everyone else.

All access tickets to the Theakston Crime festival and somewhere bougie to stay (was supposed to be going for the second time this year but work commitments and lack of finances have got in the way).

Then a fortnight at the Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun for me and DD and a nice Warner break with my mum.

Money to the kids.

The very first thing I'd buy would be a whole order of expensive chocolate from Selfridges. That would be online though, so after that I'd go to the harrods food hall (by black cab) and put things in my basket like no man's business. Then I'd take myself to a fancy cinema where you sit on couches and they bring you drinks. I'd sip champagne and feel very happy with myself.

Forever house, holidays, money to family would all follow.

We older now and retired. I have expensive taste in flights, hotels etc (husband more easy going), but we have pretty much all that we want. I would buy a more expensive house that had a good 3/4 acre outside, so there was a big play area for my large dog and a garden area seperated off that she then wouldn’t trash 🙄 I would buy my youngest a nicer home. The other one is doing very nicely. Then, I’d like to open a free girls school and support centre in an area of Africa where it’s difficult for girls to be educated.

First thing would probably be celebratory champagne

Then
House with enough room for stables
Gift my brother some money to pay off his mortgage or buy a new house
Chanel handbag

Buy my sister a house of her choosing. Give my kids a million each.

First class travel, might encourage me to travel more.

Give half a million to my best friend to give her choices.

Ooh very first thing? Probably lunch/dinner in the nice pub with the play park so DH and I could talk excitedly while the kids run around.
Then:

• quit my job
• by a new car to replace mine that’s constantly has something that needs fixing
• pay of my student loan and my sisters
• pay off my mortgage, my sisters mortgage and give my other sister money for a flat
• dont know if my parents have any debt but pay that I off if they do and give them a hefty chunk so they can truly enjoy retirement
• plan some holidays and go clothes shopping!

Thought of another one - well, two actually, a robot hoover and a Philips Lumea. Both things I could afford to buy now, but I'm not entirely convinced about the efficacy of either, so I'm not willing to buy until the cost is irrelevant.

A house. Next big chunk would go on my child's education. Save up the rest for the unknown future.

A flat in central London - a nice part, so hopefully my £10 million would be enough!

I'd book dinner at the local posh hotel for all my immediate family, to tell them I'd won the lottery.

A house for my lovely sister in law who was left with two small children when my utter fuckwit of a brother in law decided to cheat on her and leave her. All he’s interested in now is when she’s going to sell the house so he can get his money back. Never mind the fact that she’s a single parent and can’t actually afford anywhere else and that he’s trying to make his own children homeless. I’d love for her to be able to text him and say we’ve gone, the keys are in the door.

There's some wooded land I know of, that I'd quite like to buy, to prevent it being built on. So I'd like to spend some money on that, but it would probably take quite a long time to sort out the paperwork.

In the meantime, I don't have a current passport and I don't drink, so it would have to be chocolate and cars!

House on Côte d'Azur, some plastic surgery to my neck/under chin and a breast reduction.
In no particular order, though it would be nice to have a home by the sea to recuperate in after my operations.

I underestimated the amount of money so I might also extend to a really, really nice camper van plus a massive wad of cash for one relative who has unfortunately got a million to one health condition. that feels appropriate for a million to one monetary prize, eh??

Aside from this …. I foresee trips away in the camper, it will have an awning and a mobile pizza oven and space for our respective dogs and children ;)

Take my entire family on holiday and check my bf into a private hospital for much needed treatment.
