Toys YOU used to have as a child

I noticed in one of our second hand shops this morning that they had a little stroller like i used to have as a child. It is a maclaren buggy, red and white striped with red plastic handles and a steel chasis. It made me remember how me and my sister used to 'pour' ourselves in it and push each other round the garden

needless to say I have forced ds to say he wants it and it is now being pushed round after the dogs...........

what were your favourites?

Barbie - I had blonde Barbie and Brunette Barbie so they could wear different colours (!) and had bags and bags of clothes for them - they had fantastic outfits in the late Sixties, real couture with jewellery and shoes...sigh.
Also had three dolls houses - a bungalow, 30s semi and trad house - all fully furnished, with families in them. Used to get them all up in the morning and put them to bed at night. And a one-eyed, one-armed green bear and doll who spoke German. All long vanished...sob.

I had this fashion wheel thing where you could design dresses and I loved my neighbours board game and guess who.

OnZephyrstdayofXmas · 14/12/2004 15:55

Major Morgan was a little blue man (a major!) and you would slot a card into the front of him and press the coloured squares to play songs - he was the best!!!

sparklynorthernstar · 14/12/2004 15:56

OMG that is a blast from the past - yes I had one of those!
