Toys YOU used to have as a child

I noticed in one of our second hand shops this morning that they had a little stroller like i used to have as a child. It is a maclaren buggy, red and white striped with red plastic handles and a steel chasis. It made me remember how me and my sister used to 'pour' ourselves in it and push each other round the garden

needless to say I have forced ds to say he wants it and it is now being pushed round after the dogs...........

what were your favourites?

What was the name of the game which was round with 4 primary coloured lights on it - the lights would flash and beep in sequence and you had to follow it?

I still have my stylophone and it still works perfectly!

SPARKLER1clausiscomingtotown · 14/12/2004 16:28

I also have a toy still in good working order called magic merlin. Did anyone else have one? I don't recall any of my friends having one. It was red and shaped a bit like a cordless telephone. Had six games on it which were played by pressing the number buttons, it played music, 3-in-a-row, blackjack 13, magic number and a couple of others I can't remember at the moment. Oooh gonna have to get it out of the loft and show dd. I would love to hear if someone else has seen or had one of these!

Oooh on a roll now . Anyone else have a twirling stick? Think it was a yellow stick with red knobs on each end. Had a bit of plastic line on it with a round hook. Used to twirl it around my head, under legs etc.

OnZephyrstdayofXmas · 14/12/2004 16:31

i remember that stick!! I could never do it though!

Didn't have one but wish I had. Sounds very amusing.
