Toys YOU used to have as a child

I noticed in one of our second hand shops this morning that they had a little stroller like i used to have as a child. It is a maclaren buggy, red and white striped with red plastic handles and a steel chasis. It made me remember how me and my sister used to 'pour' ourselves in it and push each other round the garden

needless to say I have forced ds to say he wants it and it is now being pushed round after the dogs...........

what were your favourites?

Anyone remember slime? It was gooey green stuff that came in a little green plastic dustbin. It didn't do much except ooze tbh.

I had a mini Cadbury's chocolate machine, you put 2p in and got a chocolate. Only I never let anyone eat the chocolate, I must have made a fortune

popsycal · 18/12/2004 22:02

argos are selling those choc machines...

Tanzie · 19/12/2004 16:17

at Carla for her Katie Copycat. I desperately wanted one of these when I was 6! I had Crissy (whose hair grew, but she was much bigger than Tressy - had Tressy too), Tiny Tears, Pippa dolls, Action Girl, Mousie Mousie, a Cadbury's choc machine (think mine took old money tho' - at showing age!). Monopoly. We always had to let my cousin Wendy buy Mayfair and win or she had the most enormous tantrums. And a Jacko monkey when I was very small. Did anyone else have a Jacko monkey? Big thing, with sort of grippy hands. Think it wore clothes too. Left it at my cousin's house and never got it back.
