LyraSilvertongue · 25/02/2008 22:50

Computer's slow tonight.

Berrie · 26/02/2008 07:45

OP posts:
Berrie · 26/02/2008 07:48

Right I have lost....0 lbs!

I am really going for it this week. No booze, exersise, no cheating at the weekend!
I need to because if I don't lose this week i will not be on track for 2 stone by my holiday at 2lb's a week.

OP posts:
Berrie · 26/02/2008 07:52

small bowl of muesli...

Zebedeedoodah · 26/02/2008 09:05

When's the holiday Berrie?
1 bowl alpen. 2 brioche with jam . 1 1/2 cups coffee with m&s.
Rest of day is crudites (posh carrots), chicken, hoummas, cuppasoup & maybe crackers. With only black green tea or water.

Hugh Jackman....ok, if you're in a musical mood, definitely go with Oklahoma it's a really good old fashioned feelgood one. And he's got a terific voice. Or Meg Ryan romcom Kate & Leopold. It's dire, but he's adorable in it. Haven't seen the X Men movies as that's not my kinda thing, so I can't comment. You may want to give van Helsing a wide berth unless you're in the mood for tongue in cheek vampire stuff.

Berrie · 26/02/2008 09:58

Ah is he the one with all the facial hair in x men?

OP posts:
Berrie · 26/02/2008 09:58

Holiday is mid June.

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 26/02/2008 10:23

Camping in Cornwall?

Yes, I think it's the facial hair one. I'm not sure if this is a movie I really need to see.

Berrie · 26/02/2008 11:07

No camping in France.

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 26/02/2008 11:30

Oh well. I expect the drive will be quicker!

Berrie · 26/02/2008 12:15

Flying !

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 26/02/2008 12:40

Now that's just showing off.

Berrie · 26/02/2008 15:46

Oggs where are you? Come on the weigh in can't be so bad?

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 27/02/2008 07:30

Morning
Well I claim the prize ................... I lost a whopping 1lb .
Don't know what went wrong, but I've ditched the low carb and have gone for GI as it feels like a much healthier and more easily sustained way of eating for the foreseable future.
Berrie, did you get your prize for last week? You should have by now.

Swordfish is a Hugh goody. Also has John Travolta who I have a particular weakness for . It's really very good (apart from Halle Berry who I have a particular aversion to), and he gets his top off and shows that glorious bod .

Berrie · 27/02/2008 08:01

Morning.
No I didn't get my prize
I shall scurry off right now to sort out your prize...better make that 2 prizes as my motivation is teetering...

So did you all get the earthquake? Scared the living daylights out of me...couldn't sleep for a couple of hours such was the adrenelin. We'd leapt out of bed and run onto the landing. I was initially looking for ds at the bottom of the stairs. (I thought that was what the noise was) I thought he would be dead. I almost threw up. It was really really really horrid.

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 27/02/2008 08:45

No earthquake here, when was this? Last night? It must have been scary.

I posted the prize last Friday I thought you would have got it by now. It's just a token (not literally ), but now I'm worried that I should have put another stamp on it . Do hope it's not another of those that you'll either be charged extra for or have a 20 mile trip to collect . It was only a very small envelope .

Shouldn't Binkle be back by now? I thought it was a week they were going for. I hope doggy's okay.

Berrie · 27/02/2008 08:50

It happened just before 1am. It was truely horrid but mostly because I thought ds was dead. Though Dh didn't think it was that and he was frightened too.

I'll check behind the wellies beneath the letter box

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 27/02/2008 09:50

OMG Berrie, that is really really awful . Poor you, I can't think of anything more terrible. . Have you recovered now, or are you still totally shaken up?

I'm trying to find out if my mum felt it, although knowing her, she probably slept through it.

Berrie · 27/02/2008 10:02

Oh I'm ok. I still feel slightly ill if I think about poor little ds at the bottom of the stairs. Just because it didn't actually happen does not lessen the impact of my world disintegrating for a second. Lordy, I'm sounding really overdramatic aren't I?

(Berrie resolves to just be grateful nothing bad has ever happened instead)

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 27/02/2008 10:15

It's not at all overdramatic. It's impossible not to see it in your head - it made me imagine my own DS at the bottom of the stairs, and it's hideous. Everyone else in the office winced as well when I told them. (one PG, one a grandpa - you get the picture)

So, to cheer yourself up, you're just gonna have to find one of those feelgood Hugh Jackman movies

oggsfrog · 27/02/2008 10:17

Aw. Poor you. Go and give ds an extra big hug. (Loved the 'Hands orrfff my goh-rrrrrrrrrr-old' )

Berrie · 27/02/2008 10:18

Oh I read about him this morning. He's doing a Wolverine film with the chap who was axed from Lost.

OP posts:
Berrie · 27/02/2008 10:18

Tee hee Oggs...

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 27/02/2008 10:20
