Yes Pagwatch we have never had a job outside of school hours so you need a supportive school.

DS is starting GCSE's this year and DD has only just started school at all. Both schools have a 'no absences' policy and require meetings with Head to get approval for absences ( unless sick of course)
Ah well.

pagwatch - we have had an odd couple of jobs at weekends (one just before xmas actually)and in school holidays , not that many though! I think they are quite rare. will the school allow you to have time off as unauthorised absence? we did that for a holiday last year as they do not authorise any holiday.

Hi ,
An update on my baby girls first casting.... I think it was for a government advert and they need 4 babies.

She has reached the shortlist, which was a complete surprise as she did not smile once ! and lots of gorgeous babies there, but the photographer seemed to like her. If sucessful , the shoot will be on Friday.

nik73 - welcome, what age is your dd. we have done a couple of jobs where elisabeth smith kiddies have been there. they have been round for years which is good. every time we have changed agents it takes us about 8 weeks for a first casting so hope you dont have to wait that long!

dancerdeb - not worked it out how to do this yet, sorry will change my name when i have worked it out. hopefully next months our boys pictures maybe in print (ever hopeful!)

Thanks for the welcome, dd is mixed race and 6 though more the size of 7-8 yrs. She was so excited when her picture went up on the ES website, she danced round the living room for several hours!

My daughters shoot went well.... she was dressed as a space baby ! and a tomato.
I think she will be advertising in the bounty packs! She's only 10 months.

Hi everyone, dd has just been accepted for Babyshak, does anyone have any experience of this? Ds was signed with Bizzykidz although I have to admit I started a new business and my heart wasn't in it, although they fussed hugely about him joining, I never got one phone call about any work!
