hi not been on for a while, allsorts rang today with a poosibility of a job for british airways apparently wants babies 7 months approx? any one else been asked

Who is mum0071? Is that you mygirls? Just trying to work out who asked for approval for the msn group.

I would like to apply to join the group - my son is with Kids London. I have tried to access the group via the link below but it does not seem to work (times out). I have searched for for the group too but cannot find it! Can anyone offer any advice on other methods I can use to access the site and apply to join?

lyndall - it doesnt allow us to invite people in now i am afraid. have you met anyone from the msm group before at castings or jobs?

Thanks! It's TV work; doubt anything will come of it but it will be a good experience.

lyndall good luck, tv ones are normally the more fun castings, so you can only learn from them thats my theory!

B&B = Bruce and Brown
KL = Kids London

Both are supposedly very good agencies.

Yackerty, thank-you so much for your good luck wishes (think we'll need them!) The casting is outside school hours, the job isn't unfortunately but as it's his first audition we are not holding out much hope of getting it anyway. Looking forward to our first taste of casting though!

Hello guys, a newbie to the thread although I have read and noted and studied prior to putting my little one forward for modelling so thanks to you all! We are new to modelling, my little one was taken on by BB in August & they have been great, he has had 4 castings & 3 jobs so far. You have to excuse my ignorance but what does DD or DS stand for, it has been racking my brains for months!!!

Still nothing for us from SW apart from the availability check that came to nothing.
I applied to B&B for DS two weeks ago but haven't heard anything from them yet- I know in the email it said it could be a few weeks, but at this stage is it more probable that they are not interested?
Whenever I've seen posts on here saying children have been accepted by them it always seems to be superquick! Having said that SW did take ages for us.
Last time I applied (in Jan) they actually forgot to reply, having sent me an non-automated email saying they had received my application- 1 month later I hadn't heard anything and I emailed them and they said the photo lady had forgotten to email me with a no!

My DS applied to B&B and after exactly two weeks they telephoned to say they were interested in him but we had already made tracks with another agency by then. It is not too late for you to hear good news - good luck.

hopefully soon you will start seeing the work out in shops mags etc and will be a proud mummy!

wigglesum- maybe do a reminder email to sw with updated mesurements of your child etc, i always regret for not doing that before

wigglemsum- we took 3 and half weeks and they didnt receive my initial email then i had to resend it

Thankyou for putting me out of my misery, I could guess the son daughter part but not the rest! My ds!! is 7 in 2 weeks time. We have had by all accounts a fantastic start and he is really enjoying it, we don't live in London and so all castings are quite a trek but very much worth it. He is due out in M&S over Xmas. I'm so excited, first timers that we are!!

you never know i may even meet you on a casting as my ds is same agegroup, although mine is small for his age so is put frward for 6 and 7 year old castings. look forward to seeing the m s pictures- what a great start well done

Didn't realise they could get put forward for younger castings, that would be good for dd as shes 3 and small for her age so could maybe be seen as a co-operative 2? hey ho who knows. Hope it's going well for everyone.

Ive been making attmepts but to no avail, as Im really not a computer wizzkid!!!
I filled in something though using my same identity, then I gave up as I lost the group.
Did anyone go to the Bhs castings on Tues/Wed? we did but havent heard.
