Which way do you draw an X?

The coloured line is the first stroke. Also... where are you from, are you left or right-handed and how old are you?

I’m 8, grew up in UK, mid 30s.

8, mid forties, SE England. However, when writing using cursive script, we were taught to join a backwards ‘c’ on to the previous letter and then a forwards ‘c’ to the next letter to make an x like the example above: how to do a cursive x

7 , early 20's , Scotland.

7, left handed, Wed Mids, late 30's

Only 7 or 8 seems acceptable to me

1. Righthanded, English, age 40.

Interesting that handedness doesn't seem to make a big difference - both righties and lefties do 7 and 8...

I said 7 earlier and I do this when writing a stand-alone x. But when it's part of a word I use 8.
