Which way do you draw an X?

The coloured line is the first stroke. Also... where are you from, are you left or right-handed and how old are you?

I’m 8, grew up in UK, mid 30s.

1. From southern England. In my 50s. Right handed.

But I have to say, if we are talking of the letter x, none of those ways was the way I was taught st school. There we were taught to do a backward c followed by a forward c.

I'm a 7, DH a 5. Both 40 from NW and both right handed.

7, left handed, north, 60

7, can't imagine the awkwardness of any other way.

I primarily do 7, but sometimes 5. Right handed, from the south west, mid 30s.

I'm a 7. From North East England.

But I'm only a 7 when writing, and I don't use X a lot when writing.

When doing algebra, which I do a lot as a maths teacher, it's a backwards c then a forwards c. That's creeping into my writing too tbh, and I quite like it.
