I’m 8, grew up in UK, mid 30s.

none of the above for letter x. I was taught in GCSE maths to start always writing the letter x as a backwards c then a normal c just very slightly overlapping, as then you never GEF your letter x confused with a multiplication sign.

when I write a multiplication sign I follow picture 7.

Actually if it’s an x on its own, I’d write it like an alpha. But in a word I’d do it the mirror image.
