Initial thoughts (I'm leaving for work in 8 mins!!)

1. I love him
2. I really actually do think he's fucking brilliant. He has totally owned this. He is a really really fine actor.
3. The accent started to creep into Tom's actual voice when he started 'questioning people' I thought. But maybe he's a bit of a social chameleon depending who he's talking to. I do that a lot - I can be posh, posh Welsh, or full Valley. No one understand my accent here so I'm quite RP at the mo out of necessity. No one understands Mr at all. Nowt.
4. I thought the brief glimpse of Strike in the red cap of the RMP was knicker wettingly oooof. He is sooooooo good in uniform. Let's hope for more of that in future.
5. didn't like the actor for the police inspector.
6. Holliday is the perfect Robin for how i envisioned in the book.
7. in the books we are meant to think Matthew is a bit of a prick but I thought so far he's quite yum.
8. I want one of those pools like Tara Fitzgerald has.
9. I lolled at the cup of piss - it was quite a big cup of dehydrated man piss, from my own traumatic experience this is accurate.
10. I'm so pleased I managed to see it!!!!!!
