And spilling over Badderz?

Pfft Fancy. It says you like a bit of danger. Let's face it, all it took was for Lucifer to very forcefully throw someone through a window and later get super cross with someone and threaten them taking all his clothes off in between the two instances and he's made the List Grin. And what about when Gibbs loses it with a bad guy?

Who is it you are absolutely NOT watching in Strictly Fancy??, would it be that runner chap with the enormous thighs?

Badders08 · 11/09/2017 21:47

It is not
And purple
😜
It really is!!

Badders08 · 11/09/2017 21:50

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/09/2017 22:10

Oh look at those pictures elk - happy memories Grin

Speaking of pictures, FarFarAway have loaded more pictures from the next episode... look at the pretty Grin

Back to Strike again - yes, the 'drinks' was v. funny. But why did he tell Matthew that he hadn't been in a relationship for ages? How long is it meant to have been since the start of Cuckoo's Calling?

I am very definitely NOT watching Jonnie Peacock (the runner chappie) in Strictly Elk . He's properly lovely needs to lose the man bun though
Is gracilis a technical physio name for a cock, cos I think that's what your arrow is pointing to?

LetUsPrey · 11/09/2017 22:25

Had Strike been broken up from Charlotte for a while but she didn't quite grasp that? Or maybe he didn't consider the tail end of them being together a proper relationship? Can't remember.

You're going to miss so much Fancy by definitely not watching Jonnie Peacock in Strictly. And his partner, Oti, is my girl crush dancer. But you'll miss all that - him getting all sweaty and stuff.

Man-sprouts - LOL Grin

I need to had for the hayloft - night all...

FancyFancy · 11/09/2017 22:28

I can see I need to adjust my expectations if I'm not going to watch Strictly letus - I thought I'd tuned into Ru Paul's Drag Race at first. The hair & make-up made several of the women pros look like men in frocks. I googled Oti & she is gorgeous in real life, what did they do to her?

FancyFancy · 11/09/2017 22:29
LetUsPrey · 11/09/2017 22:39

Night Helen.

Wait until you don't see Oti doing ballroom, looking all romantic. You'll want to hate her but you won't be able to. Because you won't be watching.

I need to head to the hayloft too. Apologies if the shouting from my HBFs of choice keeps anywench awake. I've requested some sternness

Thanks for sending dr Athos Apes although I don't know why he used his special thermometer, it's not like I'm running a temperature or so Grin

Been reminiscing about my first trip to London in 1989 I think it was, and we went to some cool shops and I managed to find them on google, Kensington Market and also a place called Hyper Hyper. It's 28 years ago, how is that even possible?

FancyFancy · 11/09/2017 23:19

You'll want to hate her but you won't be able to. Because you won't be watching PMSL Grin

28 years ww - were you a foetus? Wink

Badders08 · 12/09/2017 07:00

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 12/09/2017 07:57

Morning all. Sod work, I just want to go back to bed Sad Ho hum. I'll pretend there are HBFs a work - that will get me there, at least...

LetUsPrey · 12/09/2017 08:09

Morning wenches.

You must have been very young on your first London trip Wicked. I think I was 15 or so, not counting the school day trip when I was 10.

Your subconscious is behaving as wench subconsciouses do Badderz. Badly and niagw.

Also can't be arsed here. Took ages to get to sleep last night and so I am not in a good mood.

Brew all round & now I must get moving - off out for the day....

MadamedeChevreuse · 12/09/2017 09:28

Morning! Watched Strike last night - thought it was really excellent and actually a lot better than Lulu Wink, which is weird as I liked the Silkworm book the least of the three...

Maybe it's cos I cant remember the book as well, but I didnt really notice any scenes cut from the book, so that was less annoying. Think it's all hanging together well plot-wise, really dark and sinister and ewww and the Thing between him and Robin is building up beautifully.

Saying that, I did notice one thing that was different - her off-roading in a Panda. Bit odd that - in the book wasnt it that she dramatically avoided an accident? Which would have been a bit more exciting than doing a detour around a stuck tractor. Wonder why they changed that... Hmm

However was Grin at the scene when he asked a bystander to drive him home.

Dodo and her mum are played brilliantly, really heartbreaking. Think JKR does better/is a lot more comfortable with social drama than trying to write about famous models and rich people and stuff.

Matthew is a satisfyingly massive bellend.

Cant wait for next week!

MadamedeChevreuse · 12/09/2017 09:41

Bloody hell I remember talking about Hyper Hyper!!! It was the Mecca of cool and anyone who claimed to owned any item from there was immediately promoted to the premier league of ultimate radness. Grin

elky Grin Grin Grin at those photos...ahhhh, memories! fancy I was wondering the same thing about the label pointing to santi's third leg.

And PMSL at "Tricep, possibly". Oh team B, I love that you love him, wee skinny white arms and all! Grin

So I was totally wiped out after the concert on sunday, it was amazing but knackering. Still got migraine from it. Was hoping it would fuck off today so I could be slightly more productive than I was yesterday. Hmm Oh well, we shall see...

Badders08 · 12/09/2017 09:44

Madame - hope migraine fucks off
I have stuff I should be doing phone just auto Corrected doing to groin - how funny
But meh
Fuck it

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 12/09/2017 10:53

Aaaaaw wenches Smile I was 18 and London was the coolest place on earth so we had to go there. Me and my friend were quite green, first time abroad and we stayed at this awful hotel and ww thought that continental breakfast sounded really fab so were a bit disappointed at our first breakfast Grin
We didn't buy anything at Hyper Hyper, probably too pricey but we did buy some cool stuff in other shops.
But we were a bit chicken, coming from a very small town, so we never ate at a proper restaurant, it felt too intimidating so we mostly went to cafées, but that was fab too!
Really great trip Smile

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 12/09/2017 10:55

Hope your migrain fucks off Madame!

I also thought the scene when he asked for help to drive the car was hilarious Grin

BrewBrew to all tired wenches.

Badders08 · 12/09/2017 11:31

I'm not sure what i says about me but i would totally have driven him
For free
😁

JaneElk · 12/09/2017 11:43

Wicked I feel you (nlt)(or lt if you prefer, obvs), when you're raised with the notion that a Full English is the pinnacle of breakfasting gastronomy and 'Continental' is a proper let down.

How's the migraine *Madame? I'll give you a rub after I've finished feeling Wicked. I was a bit Hmm too at the off roading polo, would definitely have been more dramatic with a motorway near miss....from the book I got the feeling it's the point where he starts seeing her in a very different light, and what better way to galvanise your thoughts than a near death experience.

Grin at man sprouts

Have had physio on the gammy leg this morning - I took a stick to bite down on - and have been ordered to rest it, so I'm going to do so by painting a wardrobe, collecting BabyElk from nurser, taking her to afternoon preschool activity, before picking up 3 more children from school, taking them all to the opticians then bringing all four back for tea.

That gives me the next seven and a half minutes to put my feet up.
