Oh FFS - BBC want me to sign in for live player. I can't remember my details. FFS.... Angry

I have Laura Robson? Losing Sad
No HBFs Sad

Comtess · 03/07/2017 12:40

Croeso Wenchi

Apols for not being in recently - a bit manic chez Nippon with all of us here and getting boys installed at school etc. Having had so many years of being wary of change, once you embrace it, you just want to do more. And I've always felt at home in chaos. 😄.

Working very hard here actually though we did have a weekend away and went on the bullet train. (far too quick to be the venue of any Tavlit 😉).

I love the 'leave me the fuck alone' gif. I soooooo think he thinks that 😆👏🏻😆.

Has there been any promo for Strike on the Beeb? Still think August is a funny time to start it when people are away on holidays.... Paid a chodi pais wedi pisio but still irritated about them never promo'ing muskies!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/07/2017 12:46

Oooh! Found him LetUs sadly the live feed is also killing my internet access, so DH will be up here complaining shortly...

Nice lunge from Dustin though Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/07/2017 12:47

Oh - and no, no promo for Strike other than a few snippets in TV mags saying that it's on in August, and that 3x1-second clips in the showreel thingy that came out ages ago.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 03/07/2017 12:49

Comtess!!!!!!! Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/07/2017 13:14

Oh - got all excited there - thought Dustin was through. he's only 2-1 up though. Got the third set on an ace. Sousa is in a grouch though Grin

LetUsPrey · 03/07/2017 13:51

Hello there Comtess my love!

Hurrah for Dustin! I shall be in my office with the door locked helping him celebrate Grin

ApricotCrush · 03/07/2017 13:58

Hello wenches. Well, the weekend weather turned out to be gorgeous. We always seem to do well when we're there.

We watched Poldark last night, which was interrupted by DH falling to sleep and chucking a glass of G & T all over the chair and carpet. Cue mad dash for liquid-sucking vacuum thingy and kitchen roll. Angry

I just switched Wimbledon on to see what all the fuss is all about Dustin, but apparently he's finished and Andy Murray was on. Nope, still can't stand him.

Pleased you're enjoying the chaos.

I'm on school run duty this afternoon so I'd better go and get ready.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/07/2017 14:14

You missed a treat Apricot Dustin's a really good tennis player - great fun to watch. I think LetUs appreciates him for more than just his tennis-playing abilities of course Grin (as is right and proper in the Tavern)

Glad you had good weather at the caravan, and at least it was G&T that went flying, rather than red wine or similar.

FancyFancy · 03/07/2017 15:31

comtess Grin , glad you're all having fun despite the chaos.

I shall be taking advantage of letus being distracted by the tennis by , er, taking advantage of the hbfs Grin

Glad you had a fab time & are back safely apricot

Well today I retured from a trip out to find a pile of cat vom on the stair carpet - helen I thought of you Wink Bloody cats.

I'm not sure I like this version of word association... Hmm Grin

LetUsPrey · 03/07/2017 19:14

Evening wenches.

Pleased you had a good weekend Apricot but at spilled alcohol!

at Fancy. I am having many discussions with various HBFs about the tennis including the best way to grip the shaft. Of the racquet obviously not really

at Fancy's catvom word association

What have you been up to today Wicked? Lots more fun stuff I hope.

I have to persuade DS2 to do his English homework. Get the Pimms ready.

MadamedeChevreuse · 03/07/2017 19:37

Oooh spooky, patty puked on the floor today too! First time he's vommed - bit worried about him cos he seems a bit peaky and listless. Sad

Glad you're all enjoying the dustin tennis. I seem to have lost all interest in all tv sport since having ds. Confused

So have you all relocated to japan now? Wow! How is that going with schools, work etc? Are you planning on staying there for a while, or is the plan to try out various parts of the world over there?

LetUsPrey · 03/07/2017 19:40

Oh poor Patty Sad

FancyFancy · 03/07/2017 20:41

Aw, poor Patty, hope he soon perks up madame.

There is very little that is spooky about why my cats puke - hairballs or slugs

. You discussed racquet grips? In the same way I discuss fingering?

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 03/07/2017 20:42

Has it just been today Patty's been a bit off colour Madame? Does he go outside because I'm wondering if it's something he's eaten from outside.

LetUsPrey · 03/07/2017 20:44

English homework was surprisingly painless. He even did an extra section

Exactly that Fancy. We also carried out practical work on the subject of grips, together with how many balls can a wench comfortably fit in her hand.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/07/2017 21:01

I think our cats puke for fun. Angry Or because they ate grass. Hope Patty perks up. It rarely means anything bad - except for whoever steps in it/has to clean it up.

ApricotCrush · 03/07/2017 22:29

Hope Patty is alright Madame. Buffy pukes nearly every time she's here and she's mostly an indoor cat. I think it's furballs with her.

Just watched Outlander. Excellent! Grin

FancyFancy · 03/07/2017 22:33

I'm watching Poldark.........

OP posts:
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/07/2017 22:38

'Watching' or 'perving over' Fancy? Grin

I'm heading for the hayloft...

Hope LetUs has got on ok with her demonstration of shaft grips... Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 03/07/2017 22:42

Glad you had nice weather Apes Smile

Sigrid puked today, and yesterday, food and hairballs, lovely. Hope Patty gets better soon!

Got caught in pouring rain while out bikeriding and later I cleaned the drains in the bathroom, so lots of holiday fun here Letus HmmGrin

FancyFancy · 03/07/2017 22:57

Such glamorous lives we all lead ww Grin

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 03/07/2017 22:59

Have also watched Poldark here so we are actually up to date! They can stare out to sea on the cliffs as much as they want - AT is worth it Grin. That reverend reminded me a bit of Mr Collins but way more disgusting. Morwenna needs to knock the drippy looks on the head although yes I know it's scripted that way Grin

Very pleased you enjoyed Outlander Apricot! Roll on this week's episode.

You know how to live it up Wicked Grin. At least you have the satisfaction that you've done that job though!

I can assure you Helen that the HBFs assure me that my grip is perfection and my ball handling skills are excellent Grin

I'm watching Today At Wimbledon. They're talking about Dustin and Tracy Austin has just said "he doesn't give you a lot of rhythm". Going to have to massively disagree with you there Tracy Grin
