In other news, it has been sunny all day, but just started raining. And I've spent most of the day at a funeral - I hate funerals, I always end up as a gibbering mess. DH was all "well, you had known her for longer than me" which is true, but I think I'd be a gibbering mess at a complete stranger's funeral too. #OverEmpathising

Now I ought to catch up on work, but I really can't be bothered...

Returns went well, except Next hadn't got my size in the damaged trousers I wanted to exchange. Bloody typical. We have an out of town branch which isn't too far though, and I got them from there.

Had an issue with people in our reception area late today who were, shall we say, on the intimidating side. Got it sorted in the end. Left work and spotted a man, who I'm sure I saw at lunchtime in town, sitting on a wall opposite the office who looked very much like XH. I don't know if it was him because I didn't want to look too closely. Probably wasn't but I phoned the office and said if someone comes in (especially today just after 5) asking if someone of my name works there, to say no.

In the latest holiday hell update (Because I know you're all really interested ) I have managed to get all friends and family lined up in the same week, but at different times to the original plan, so all my B&B research (which DH doesn't like anyway ) has to be re-done with different dates.

Well done for getting it sorted helen & my sympathies re the funeral; I too am a blubbing mess at funerals which tends to freak my family out a bit because I'm a stony faced bitch at all other times
