There's a ruined chapel set in some woods all part of Dunstaffnage Castle. I'm not really given to "woooo" feelings but it's very atmospheric and doesn't half give me the willies

I could do with a nutella-based snack right now. Had a shit day at work and then got to my car to find a penalty parking notice as my parking pass had flipped over when I'd shut the car door this morning and I hadn't noticed. So yes, my own fault but I park there every sodding weekday with my pass always on display.

I'm so not in the mood for this sort of shit. I'm hormonal and DS1 is doing my head in (he didn't do as well as he could have done in an exam because he didn't actually, you know, do enough revision but it's okay because he "doesn't care"). Fine. He wants to not do his best with his studies and potentially end up stuck in a shitty job that he hates for really not much money, then help your fucking self. I may be projecting slightly.

Buffy comes here about every couple of months when her fur has become out of hand. I do miss her when she goes, but wouldn't want full responsibility for her. She's very high maintenance and expensive. They have insurance for her, but the excess is very high, and the premium goes up every year.

Evening. My mum has arrived to look after ds for the weekend on her own for the first time becauuuse.... me and dp are off for a weekend away together!!! It's to celebrate our 10 year anniversary which is, er, at some point around now. Exact date not recorded. We've never celebrated an anniversary before so...

Anyway, we're off to the wye valley tomorrow morning. And I have run out of mobile data this month - first time I've managed to do this, not sure how, so I will most likely not be online this weekend.
