No HBI. No innuendo. Honestly, what is the point? There must be someone I can complain to? If I'm going to spend my Friday evening in a cold sports hall, I need some sort of recompense.Things had better perk up on Sunday.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 21/04/2017 21:59

FFAS LetUs That's just not on Angry Send Gibbs round to shout at them. Or Aramis. Or any HBF of your choice.

We have snooker on TV - argh - sodding Versailles - I never set the box. and Stupid cat is on my knee so will have to turf her off to get to the remote...

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/04/2017 22:31

Excellent point, thanks letus. Star

Im off to bed. Cos that's how I roll. Nighty night all. Wink

LetUsPrey · 21/04/2017 23:09

Ooo some excellent suggestions there Helen. I think what I'll do is head over to the chateau with Aramis, but get Gibbs and a couple of other HBFs to join us. Get them all to do some stern stuff and shouting for a full assessment. It might take a while.

Night Madame. Don't forget to lather up well when you're in the shower.

Off to the chateau Night

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 22/04/2017 09:42

Morning all. Hope the 'In Depth' research went well LetUs Wink and all migraines have FTFO.

I have had a lie in and need to have breakfast/tidy the house, etc etc domestic whatnots.... (am just wittering now)

Laters.....

MadamedeChevreuse · 22/04/2017 09:45

bads - interesting new migraine drug bring trialled. Prob wont be available for a few years but worth asking gp about in case uk trials start...

migraine.com/blog/cgrp-antagonists-are-the-new-triptans/

Btw do you take a triptan (eg imigran) for when you have an attack? If not, ask your gp. They're the best abortive treatment available. I take 50mg imigran with a big whack of ibuprofen about three times a week and that usually works for a day or two

LetUsPrey · 22/04/2017 10:54

Morning wenches. Have been up and about washing and shopping and stuff.

Quite a few entries made during the course of the research last night

MadamedeChevreuse · 22/04/2017 11:12

It's the thought that counts letus Flowers

Btw, SECOND NIGHT DRY IN A ROW FOR DS!!!!

#amazingalarmpants #theyreallywork

LetUsPrey · 22/04/2017 11:20

Oh that's brilliant Madame! He must be so pleased with himself and you must also be thrilled because no washing

I'm watching one of those That's Entertainment programmes. Compilation of various bits of musicals. I love watching Gene Kelly dance. And the routine he did with Fred Astaire made me

LetUsPrey · 22/04/2017 11:38

Now it's a clip from High Society (one of my favourite films) of Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby singing Did You Evah? That's also one of the contenders for a show dance when I'm on Strictly with Aljaz. may have given this a bit too much thought

Badders123 · 22/04/2017 11:38

Apparently triptans are dangerous for hemi
Plegic migraine - which is classed as rare and complicated
Well
It would be wouldn't it!?
Ffs

Badders123 · 22/04/2017 11:39

Great re ds Madame ⭐️

MadamedeChevreuse · 22/04/2017 11:50

Yes letus - I'm really delighted! about the washing

Hmmm - I would keep pressing your GP about that bads cos it sounds like it's just over-cautiousness and the view may be changing:

www.nyheadache.com/blog/triptans-may-be-safe-in-basilar-and-hemiplegic-migraine/

Fwiw I've had hemiplegic migraine on occasion and I've always taken triptans by the bucketload with no issues. It's a shame for you because they are the only thing that actually work on migraine, afaik.

MadamedeChevreuse · 22/04/2017 11:54

But if your GP says triptans are a total no for you, ask them about preventatives instead - that one I mentioned, Candesartan, is a new finding and apparently has had good results. I know Anne found that another beta blocker, propranolol, was really helpful for her migraines. (It had no effect at all for me though.) Good luck!

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 22/04/2017 12:37

I used to have a crush on Gene Kelly Smile

Hope all migrains fucks off Angry

Well done MiniMadame Star

I have a lot of energy for some reason so I cleaned my poor car on the inside, so much rubbish. Now off to vacuum the house and then maybe try to assemble a table for the conservatory Smile

FFS, I'm meant to be tidying up - why am I in front of the computer?!
#NoSelfControl JustAskAthos

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 22/04/2017 12:44

also - yes - Yay for #amazingalarmpants and the resulting lack of washing for Madame. I have made it rain here by putting a load of washing on...

Oh, and Broadchurch - I thought it was a good ending, though see what you mean about anatoncally dubious - I'd have hoped that his reaction would have made that sort of thing impossible, but hey ho.

FancyFancy · 22/04/2017 13:06

Afternoon wenches, ought to be cracking on with chores

Yay for another dry night madame Smile

Boo to migraines Sad

Love a bit of Gene Kelly too - Singin' in the Rain is one of my fave ever films

Badders123 · 22/04/2017 13:20

Afternoon all.

Great news re DS Madame and bad news re migraines. Strange, propranolol causes vision disturbances with me. I suppose we all react differently.

DS and his DC came round this morning. I've sorted out DGD's birthday present with her. I give her a budget and she tells me what to get. Very expensive designer make-up. Shock She will be 10 ffs going on 20. Anyway, it's what she wants, so.....

We're going out for a meal this evening with friends.

Hope everyone is having a good day. Smile

ApricotCrush · 22/04/2017 13:25

Good lord WW, sit down and have a rest. Very envious of your energy. I have none. Envy

LetUsPrey · 22/04/2017 13:33
