Alright?
Very sunny here so I must also go in search of things to wash!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 09/04/2017 09:35

Also sunny here

I think I shall insist of a family argument day out. I bet the local National Trust place has an Easter egg thingy on...
...
Oh. No, it doesn't. Not until next weekend. Sad

Of course, the family argument day out assumes that DH ever gets up. Hmm

I feel the need to decorate.

Morning! Oops, it's a bit late isnt it. And Im not dressed yet. Did feck all yesterday because of a migraine and today ds has a friend over so unlikely to do anything much either. Urg.

Did watch Elementary though and he is getting it on with a spectrum autistic lady. All is very chaste and sweet. Hmm I prefer it when he's bouncing around with his dominatrix friends tbh.

helen Ive got a samsung A3. It's great. Bit cheaper than an Iphone, if you have a budget.

JaneElk · 09/04/2017 11:12

Good morning wenchypeeps

My toes are always pointed. And curled.

I am that classy.

Annoying that the Strike promo has started in Vogue magazine. I don't really want to spend £10.50 on four hundred pages of perfume ads just so I can service my Tom Burke obsession thanks. Although helen is absolutely correct, he is going to need straightening out and lengthening after all that feigning a limp. This is the work of a professional only, so off you trot Helen, go on.....shoo

Badders123 · 09/04/2017 11:59

Elky! ❤️
Madame...I concur totally re JLM
Helen...I have an iPhone but only because dh and ds1 have them and it made sense to be on the same operating network
I hear good things about Samsung

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 09/04/2017 12:02

According to twatter, Vogue is on special offer - £2 for this issue. I wouldn't know because such things do not exist in my neck of the back-of-beyond Hmm

Anyhoooo, DS and DH have agreed that I am delusional we should go out on a magazine hunt for a family argument day out afternoon out. And we will have a lovely time and not argue or winge at each other or anything like that. We will be a lifestyle magazine advert for a happy rural family enjoying avoiding cow splats a walk in the countryside. And DS has not said that he still feels a little bit sick after I suggested this delusion enjoyable outing. Nope. He's 100% fine Confused

Madame I do have a budget for the phone because I am an utter cheapskate and only use my phone for music, plus the actual phone and texting and emergency poor quality photos. Oh well.

Laters all...

MadamedeChevreuse · 09/04/2017 13:04

helen...if you get a smartphone and start using the internet on it you will never not be online it will change your life forever.

Happy Strike press day athos wenches!

LetUsPrey · 09/04/2017 14:05

Gosh, talk about things being worth the wait!

Hope you're enjoying your family argument day out Helen

DH is boring on about the football. I don't care.

All ironing done!

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 09/04/2017 14:08

It's a bit better Letus Smile

Manifestation for love at Sergels Square in Stockholm. Quite powerful, and a big FU to terrorrists.

Mum came for lunch and I've just taken her home
I shall not be ironing today as I have to stay in on Tuesday for ds2s new mattress delivery
Ww...looks amazing!
Hope Helen is enjoying her afternoon out and that apes is having a lovely time at the caravan
It's very nice and sunny here but I'm knackered
Ds1 has done some maths homework and ds2 has some reading to do
Ds1 wants to watch the Grand Prix so I shall be "having a nap" then 👍
Think dh is taking ds2 swimming later...
In other news I have achieved an erm...motion 💩
🌟

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 09/04/2017 14:17

I'm not there myself, watched it on telly, quite moving, might have shed a tear or two. At the same time really proud of the police that handled it so fast, strangers helping each other out, a solidarity among people I think most didn't think existed.

Someone made a shrine for the dog that was run over by the truck. I think that's so nice.

Well done on movement Badderz

Wicked. The little dog shrine is lovely.

Off out visiting parents and MIL soon. Do I bring the washing in before we go out or leave it? Decisions decisions.

Badders123 · 09/04/2017 17:44

I think you can leave it out for a while yet Letus...the air is still very dry out there

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 09/04/2017 18:49

Madame I think that I spend quite enough time online already - I really don't need to be online with my phone too (unless exceptional circumstances)

The Family argument went well. Fun and sunshine was had by all and lambs were cuddled - awww Smile walks were had, sticks were picked up (I have a retriever, not a child) and no-one fell in the pond. And I fell asleep on the way home which was nice too. Have been in the garden since then wreaking havoc on the weeds.

Afternoon. Well, ok, evening. No I wasn't locked out again, I was erm, entertaining. Had a very lazy morning, including breakfast on the patio & a pleasant county walk this afternoon. Blimey, it's a bit hot out there Shock

I'd leave it out letus, unless it actually rains it'll soon dry tomorrow - I do this a lot as there's no way I'm getting out of bed early enough to get a load out first thing in the morning

FancyFancy · 09/04/2017 19:01

No-one falling in a pond is a parenting win in my book helen

LetUsPrey · 09/04/2017 19:07

I left it out, because I live life on the edge. Was fine Grin

Sounds a lovely day Helen and a parenting win on the ice cream non-pond falling in. Also a lovely day Fancy but of an entirely different kind Wink

Am trying to mentally prepare myself for returning to work tomorrow. Am not being terribly successful.

LetUsPrey · 09/04/2017 19:39

That's very convincing Helen Grin
