Child Modelling - March

Cripes! March already!?

Have things been quiet this part of the year, or is it just me? Only had one call for a casting a couple of weeks ago and couldn't make it. Otherwise - nada!

Lets hope March picks up!

Small world!!Do you go out and about much or stay closer to home?? Seems like a hassle getting in the car even to go to Chelm. We have been staying closer to home and walking along a certain prom!!

Lizzymouse69 - I get out and about when I can, but when the weather isn't good, I tend to stay closer to home. I visit that certain place with the prom once every couple of months. I like the Tescos there!

Nah nothing. Guess its a nono for ds. It did look like they saw quite a few tinys. Saw lots coming and going. Is your ds feeling better. Hope he has a nice 1st birthday x

That's a shame your DS hasn't heard back, still I am sure there will be plenty of other jobs.

DS seems a lot better, still has a bit of a runny nose, but much better than he was. Just preparing for his party tomorrow. xx Hope you have a lovely weekend. x

Hi all, great to see this thread busy again, I normally read and don't post. I was also at the bloomin marvelous casting but didn't hear anything I wasn't sure what it was for as in Feb my dd did a shoot for their aut/win catalogue. She has a casting on mon for mini boden but sounds like they are seeing lots as its on for 3.5 hours!

foofoo - we are meant to be going to the boden casting tomorrow and I thought the same thing.....they must be seeing hundreds!!!! We have Next casting first but DD has a terrible cold so not overly sure whether we will make either!! Which agency are you with??

Bizzykids are a very big agency so there is a lot of internal comp. Some people recommend them others don't! That's not to helpfulk really, sorry.

Hi, dd with Kids, we've had a few castings recently but none of them have gone well. She enjoys going to them but then just wants to run about which is normal for her age. Oh well!

hi foofoo, I am sure that the casting people are used to active little ones! Boden wasn't as manic as I thought it would be...they were seeing 50 in total but saw they had a list of 'faves' of kids which they have used before so don't think DD stands a chance. Let us know if you hear anything. Have you been with KL long??

Hi there - does anyone have experience of moelling in America? One of my friends was asking and I told her all the usual advice from the UK, but didn't know anything specific about how things are done over there.

Nice to see the thread back on track again!

We have just moved to a sleeply little hamlet and am STILL unpacking our lives. What a nightmare. This isn't our last move so I am keeping most things in boxes in the loft.

There hasn't been a sniff of work in AGES for DS.

Housemum - No, I don't know anyone, unfortunately.

Off to find the recycling centre....without a map!
