CountessDracula · 02/06/2004 11:22

Oh yes that weirdo, forgotten about him Willow!

Was at school with Emma Chambers (that dippy one out of the Vicar of Dribbly as we all know one of the funniest progs on tv NOT) Oh and one of the BBC News 24 news readers (v impressive that one). And Lord Lucan's daughters (better)

Martin Clunes neighbour in last house (fat, grumpy, dog kept escaping, drove stupidly large car)

Kissed Ander Limpar (no tongues, v short)

Ainsley Harriot (v v v nice man, hate him on tv but he and his kids lovely and all RAVING gooners to boot)

Joan Collins' daughter Tara (funny little voice, sweet)

DH used to be good mates with Johnny Vaughan in his coke dealing days (JV's not DH's!)before he was imprisoned and was at college with snog monster JR (must ask if he ever snogged him).

My mate Charlotte was on Eastenders for about 5 mins. We were disproportionately excited when we saw her.

www - afraid I don't have an expense account: flying was in my old job: the restaurant was a well-off friend's 30th where, for some bizarre reason he decided to take about 40 people out for a very nice dinner: we paid for the booze, which came to more than I'd normally pay for food and booze. It was fun though: dh saw Michael Jordan on the same night, who was apparently dining with Madonna ( though never worked out if people were pulling my leg on that one) - as rabble we were confined upstairs and had to rely on frequent trips to the loos to spot the famous.

noddy5 · 02/06/2004 12:32

Still can't think of anyone I've met

Toothache · 02/06/2004 13:20

Duncan Ferguson - had a few run-ins with him actually. He's a total prat. Told me if I slept with him he'd make me famous! I was dating his friend at the time. That was when he was with Rangers and I was only 17.

Had a drink with him after he started playing with Everton.... too out of his face on 'stuff' to hold a decent conversation and kept handing £20 notes to people who came up to shake his hand. Very condescending and embarassing.

And he was the cause of my DH getting a beating outside our local. He was in there with his Bodyguard who my DH looks like. When DH walked out of the pub some guys were waiting. After it was broken up the bodyguard just laughed at the state of his face and thanked DH for taking a beating for him.

Prats.

jampot · 02/06/2004 13:24

CD you would love to meet a serial killer?? At one point in their career??

CountessDracula · 02/06/2004 14:01

Let me rephrase that
I would love to meet an incarcerated serial killer!

beansprout · 02/06/2004 14:05

No serial killers for me thanks!

Played Trivial Pursuit with Kevin Rowland once, and he tried to cheat.

aloha · 02/06/2004 14:10

Sobernow !!! Richard E Grant...hmm. wasn't he supposed to have had an affair with Helena Bonham Carter? Saw him the other day in Notting Hill looking very good.

Have met lots through work. Antonia Banderas and Melanie Griffiths, Patsy Kensit, Ewan McGregor, Johnny Lee Miller, Anna Friel, Emma Thompson's mum (lovely), Claudia Schiffer, Kate Winslet, Kate Beckinsale, Cindy Crawford and lots of B, C and D listers - including the Hamiltons! Dh gets to meet the trendy people - like India Arie and Erykah Badu (I KNOW I've spelt that wrongly - and not so cool, like Lionel Richie. Dh's ex is friends with that tosser off Pop Idol - that's it, Simon Cowell.

lou33 · 02/06/2004 14:12
