hi .yummymummy..i missed a phone call from u/a today about 12 about a casting for dd . when i phoned back i spoke to sarah she said she thought it was for empire on saturday.dont really know if she got the casting or not,or just seeing if dd was available.

Thats great MaryMay. Think that they were just checking availability yesterday and they will thn tell the clint who can make the dates etc. and then they will get back to those they want to see. I think thats how it works.

How old is your DD?

yummymummy.dd 10.i didnt realise i missed the call until about half three.so maybe it was to late by then.i wont hold my breath.
ive made the mistake of thinking great dd or ds has a casting or job then nothing happens.still thats the way it goes.

I think the waiting is the worst part of the modelling.

Yet mostly modelling is about waiting. You wait for a casting, then wait for the yes or no, then wait to see the pics in print. LoL

I have everything crossed for your DD and the knit wear company. Sorry is it a casting or a straight job?

Straight job. Since she been with KL - about 8 weeks (obviously we had Xmas). She only had 1 straight job for JuniorP&B and knitwear one (hopefully). No castings but I prefer that cos I work fulltime! Would be nice to have Empire one though cos that on Saturday absolutely perfect but we have not heard about that!

Thats lucky Lolly that she has had work without castings.

Think im going to have to speak to DD's agency because I cant really do MOndays and Tuesday because im at uni, but im naughty and keep taking the time off. But i dont want her to miss out on things because I cant do MON and Tues.

So has anyone else heard on the M&S job then?

Have just heard that DD has been selected for the Empire casting on Sat. Its at the same place M&S was.

yummy - how did you get to the studio last time? i know u only live down the road from me did u go by train? hopefully we will meet as we are there at 11.15am.

Ellesmum we are the at 12:15 so an hour after yours so may miss eachother whch is a shame.

I went via train to waterloo then caught bakerloo line to E&C then Northen line. Borough and London Bridge are both close to Studio and both are on NORTHEN LINE HTH

We just heard back from u/a re M&S and unfortunately ds was unsuccessful. They didn't mention Empire casting either so don't think he has been selected for casting.
