Please no mentions of FK or Izzy on here, a new thread can be started when the other one gets full.

Hi, I have not been on this thread for ages (not that I would really bother going on any other), hope everyones dd and ds have had loads of work. Just sitting here trying to read through what has been happening the last few days, my dd has had nothing lately, just sent new pics in to kl with teeth details (the fact that she has them all at the moment is a miracle).

Could someone tell me what msn is about, it was mentioned in Dec and it seems that ellesmum was getting everone on, but I know nothing about it.

Lolly68 · 26/01/2007 16:23

Onslowette - what is your MSN name. Can you let me know or try and rejoin. We have 2 names pending but we dont know if its you!!

Hi Totally I think most mums are now posting elsewhere and are sooo outraged with Mn don't intend on posting here again. I doubt i will post on the modelling forums much, it is convenient on here but i can't be fecked with all the different threads on there.

quadrophenia · 29/01/2007 18:09

cindyl just email and ask them

totallyfloaty35 · 29/01/2007 18:34

Hi Quad, they on msn i know, but find mumsnet easier and like reading the other threads too.Dont much like all the "bullying" of model thread users on here though

marymay · 29/01/2007 18:46

hi totally..glad dd jobs went well today.u/a emailed me two photos of dd this afternoon.have you checked your emails?

mysonsmummy · 29/01/2007 18:47

found both places today do thanks. strange thing - we were at the Boden casting at 2pm. there were about 7 kids around 6-9 years and none of them had their school uniforms on. do parents get them home and change them before castings. surely you wouldnt have time. do it in the car? or not send them to school first cant work it out. felt odd ds only one in uniform. ideas???
i heard a mum say to her son today stop walking like that ffs !!

oh and i spoke to ds teacher about taking time off for this and she said i was better off saying it was for an appt. or something.

totallyfloaty35 · 29/01/2007 18:49

hi,answered you on msn too not got them yet, maybe they doing it by age? my dd is 11.Shoot was good ,they gave her some pressies and seemed to like her alot.Anything for you lately?

totallyfloaty35 · 29/01/2007 18:52

mysons,maybe they dont wear uniform?

lizzymouse69 · 29/01/2007 19:30

Hi

New to thread but just wondered if anyone heard anything about the empire shoot??

Thanks

christabel · 29/01/2007 19:30

Hi anyone here from Yorkshire or nearby and with a London agency or if from the North which agencies are you with.

quadrophenia · 29/01/2007 20:02

Well I guess if its seen as bullying and they all bugger off ten they've let the bullies win each to their own and all that!

totallyfloaty35 · 29/01/2007 22:10

Exactly Quad,i cant be bothered to get wound up by the teasing from the others, its happened far too oftenbut its not great that so many have left this site.
Have you had your U/A pics through?

mrsratty · 29/01/2007 22:19

mysonsmummy - were there many people when you got to the M&S casting. We got there at 4 and it was quite quiet but one of the ladies said that they had been really manic earlier. They were really nice and took a couple of pictures of both girls together for me to take away which was very kind of them. I've always wondered if people change there kids out of uniform for castings as very few turn up in them even for after school castings.

OP posts:
mysonsmummy · 29/01/2007 22:56

mrsm - i thought they were only doing it between 4 - 5 what time were you told? sure it must be something for food. did they say when they shoot was? do you get yours changed if coming from school? took us ages to find it. tbh the mini boden kids didnt look they were coming from school hair gel etc. i might be wrong. on the form they asked if they could cut the childs hair???? oh well if he dont get it i'll know why. lol. going by the women who said 'dont walk like that you look like a chav' (poor thing) note to myself 'must try harder'.

mrsratty · 30/01/2007 08:07

They were seeing girls between 3-4 but as it was a school day I'm surprised they had a mad rush before we got there. I don't change DD out of her uniform, I don't see what difference it would make and it seems like too much hassle. The casting was for dressing up clothes like you said, I checked when I got there as it did look like a studio for food.

Does sound like you are doing something wrong if you are not gelling your son's hair and not telling him how to walk! Poor kids. Was it for Boden you had to fill in a form re hair cutiing as we didn't fill in any forms for M&S.

lanismum · 30/01/2007 12:25

God this thread is quiet now!
no jobs or castings for dd but prob just as well as I now resemble a waddling whale
We are living off of microwave meals and takeaways atm, our lovely new cooker is sitting in the kitchen waiting to be earthed, and not so dp is refusing to attempt to try and wire it in, my brother did try, but cut his hand with a stanley knife so sulked and refused to try again, so im going to search for an electrician today, its awful when your 2 year old says din dins when you pull up outside the chippy
Can I be invited to the msn group thingy please, I think I was originally but never got around to accepting.

mysonsmummy · 30/01/2007 12:34

mrsm - your right i did say it was for dressing up didnt I. i think ds looks lovely in his uniform - would hope they can see past that at anyway. it was boden - the form said would you take child out of school and about hair cut. very odd question dont you think?? what area to you live it - it was a trek for us as we are in chiswick west london. the shoots next week sometime. let me know when you hear something.
