ellesmum just got my great universal cat and your dd is in

idtwinmummy- bk has always been a touchy subject on here. one mum on here strawb has had lots of work with them and been very happy. They are on albas website as a 'A' listed agency www.albamodel.info . Good Luck in your decisions. I think they have been going round quite a few years.

We could all do with promoting Albas site as it also mentions bogus agencies etc and hopefully will protect people from the different scams out there.

idtwinmummy bk are def a well known agency lots of kids get castings and jobs but like any agency some don't. i think you just have to go with what you feel is right and understand that no ageny can guarentee work i know mums who's kids are with bruce and brown, kids london and mot and have had nothing in a year. i know that bizzy kidz do get a lot of work but weither your child would with them is something no one can answer. my dd did a lovely job with them but we are now with u/a and to be honest i wish i'd stayed with b/k cause they get a lot of stuff for my dd's age and when i changed, my dd only did modelling but now she does acting and we are tied to a sole rep contract with u/a so it means she's missing a lot of opportunities. good luck with your choice

Hello all...happy new year!

Not been on for a while - nothing has been happening for DS on the modelling front and we are being thrown into a house move from here to Gloucestershire - within 8 weeks!

Needless to say DS's modelling is going to end and it is going to be the most difficult and traumatic time for him and our DD. New schools, new house, new people etc...

I drop in every now and again - hope everyone is well! I'll update sometime soon.

Not with FK with Source. It was a fashion shoot. Only been with Source for 6 weeks so quite shocked at getting a job so soon. DD's job went really well at weekend. Waiting for next job now (well I am not sure about DD!!!) Didn't realise this modelling lark was so stressful!! Anyone else feel the same.

clj118 & BigmummaL> How did it go at the M&S casting today? I felt that it went well for my DD she did as she was directed by the photographer and smiled on cue, but didnt get to interact with the clients as they kept themselves to themselves. Hope that it went well for you two. There were about 10 children who arrived just after us at about 3. I think that they saw alot of LO's today

Yummy & Bigmumma, We arrived there about half 2 and there were quite a few little ones there, some Siennas age and some walking. Sienna did well, very quick, litereally 2 clicks on camera and then had a quick peek at the 2 pictures which were good thankfully and that was that, they did seem to keep themselves to themselves. Anyway it was very quick and Sienna was happy so all went well I hope. Glad to hear your dd did good to.
How did it go bigmumma? I thought I would bump into one of you but don't think I did??? I didn't take dd1 as she has not been too well. Just keep fingers crossed xx

Yeah the casting seemed to go ok. Very efficient I thought, didn't take long at all. Didn't actually see the photos they got, but ds was well behaved. Someone from m&S did come over and ask a few questions after he had the photos done, but that was as far as it went on the interaction front. Fingers crossed for us all!

I know ds has been put forward for the Empire job too, not sure if he has been selected for casting though, hopefully hear tomorrow.

I was there at 2.30pm also, there were about 3 other babies at the same time as us. We must have literally just missed eachother. Were you with your dp / dh? I did see a baby that fitted Siennas description when I got there initially but I had to go straight to the desk.

Glad it well for you too clj118, I just sent u/a a quick e.mail once I got back just saying briefly how it went.

Had a bit of fright today too, Norrie Carr who ds used to be represented by were putting him forward for the same jobs as u/a even though the contract with them has been terminated and we are no longer in our notice period. Had to phone them and clear things up, don't know how it happened as they said also that ds was no longer on their books.

Yes I was with him and we must have been leaving as you had come in. I was keeping a look out for you both. But was not easy as were quite a few children, dp just corrected me, we got there just after 2 and must have been leaving just after half past, There were about 9 kids ahead of us. Did you call u/a about today or did they call you about Empire? Maybe we did see each other then?????

Yes I would agree it was extremly quick. I didnt get to see the pics of DD either BigmummaL. She did one straight face and one smiling.

I usually e-mail UA just to say casting went well, and hope to hear from them soon.

Shame, looks like we did just miss eachother. I was carrying ds and he had a red hooded cardigan with a white t.shirt underneath. Was with dp but he was outide being harassed by the traffic police as according to the "officer" we stopped in an unauthorised area (this however was a blatant lie!!! !!!

Found out about Empire as u/a called and said that Norrie Carr had also been putting ds forward for the same job.

Did you sit on the chair by the stairs, as i saw a lady with a little boy just sat down as we were leaving! Sienna was wearing a purple puffa jacket and dp probably carrying her.

Yep definitely sounds like that was you. Your dp was putting Siennas coat(and I think it was purple) After I had filled the form in I went and sat down with Dion on the chair. Shame if I had only been there a few minutes earlier!!! Oh well maybe we will meet another time!

yeah that sounds like us,I had popped to the loo while he was putting her coat on. Oh how annoiying, may see you on another casting, or fingers crossed our dds and ds get the job and we all meet then
