It's supposed to be cold but dry for a few days so try and get outside for a few minutes here and there, fresh air will speed recovery.

Update half an hour ago. Breathing has improved but lots of fluid in legs, lungs etc. They are trying a new medication to try and get rid of the fluid. If they can do that his heart will improve, Dd and Ds are in good spirits, but are coming back tomorrow eve. So another trip up to London for us tomorrow.

My kids came home , both of them distressed, they think they won't see their dad again and are finding that thought very difficult, particularly Dd. Hospital desperately trying to clear fluid, but it's not working at all. His wife has been very good this time and has even asked my kids their views on what they would like to happen in the event oh ex not making it.
It's all very sad and I feel helpless to help my Ds and Dd for the first time ever. But as they say " whilst there is life ,there is hope "

I'm still not quite 100% but I'm feeling a lot better than I did a few days ago. I've been into Craven Arms today. Ham, egg and chips for lunch at my fave cafe. Quick spin around Harry Tuffins for bread, milk, ready meals, whisky, etc.

There wasn't an MN thread, magi. Knotty set up a FB group to organise it. The entire project was done in about 3 weeks and Huggers from all over the world (literally) contributed squares. The Hug arrived the day before my last mastectomy and went to hospital with me.
