Just heard from dh, the funeral is on tues. There will be no announcement in the paper. He met one of the brothers up the pub ( not the two we are friends with as he lives abroad) dh said he was very tearful. Dh has told him we will be going.

DD2's ninth birthday today so we have had a fry up and opened presents. Her main present is tickets to the "Summertime Ball" and she is SO excited and I am so chuffed. Makes me so happy, making my kids happy.

Yes it is hearts I don't understand it all especially the compensation bit. I haven't seen any of the family but dh saw one of his brothers last night so we now know a bit more info. Funeral is on tues. So sad for all his family., they surely must be heartbroken. How do people cope with that when it's your son / brother ? The absolute horror of it all.

I am in bits today. 4 hyperactive 9 year olds had a sleepover here last night. They were lovely, it was a ton of fun but FFS I am definitely not as young as I once was. Might have to go for a nap.

No further update on Zombie's FB page yet but I keep checking hoping for more good news.
