Dh just gone to aldi.
Then We have to go to town to get ds2s new glasses fitted.
Then ds1 had a b day party at 12.
Then ds2 wants to make Xmas decs.
Must go and see mum at some point....might have to walk though not sure when I am allowed to drive after sedation.
Add to that the usual tidying/cleaning/washing...it's going to be a busy day.

Dh and ds1 are playing FIFA.
Ds2 and I are watching the octonauts Xmas special.
Mum came up for an hour, but just say there in silence :( sigh. She is such hard work. Offered for her to stay for lunch - no. Offered for her to come up and watch strictly - no.

Hey Badders. You're not alone. I was just over on the old thread which we still for some reason haven't finished.

It's awkward when someone just sits in silence and you want them to feel welcome but they won't feel welcome.

It's awful to say but it's true.
Since dad died she has refused to put up Xmas decs, cards...anything.
It's pretty depressing.
She moans she is lonely and bored.
But she won't do anything.
She has never made any effort where others are concerned.
Sigh.
I am still trying to sort out the legal issues with the house which is pretty stressful.
Dh is convinced my health issues are stress mum related.
Dunno.
In other news;
Jakes first dance was a bit of a let down...

It seems as though she feels that carrying on with life after dad and enjoying herself constitutes grieving which it doesn't. Your dad would not want her to stop living her own life.

It's very sad if that's her take on it.
